Yes, good point about who's doing all the work in a pony situation, long term. It's the same with real horses, of course. "You don't so much own horses, as they own you." It's a truisim I've heard from more than one stable owner. Besides, I think about 90% of the dominants out there would draw the line at having to clean a stall of the droppings.

In my own experience, I find that being a pony for longer than a day or two, the experience begins to lose it's magic. (Up until then, it's pretty hot, or fun like camping... Ever go on an extended camp out and can't wait to get home, or checked into a motel? Yeah, like that!)

Ponyplay IS a great fantasy. And it's one of the few kinks that people who practice it can point to historical examples of, all the way back to the beginnings of civilization. I went to a ponyplay demo a few months ago..I was totally blown away at the site of real ponygirls!  I almost asked the girls to turn me into one then and there! but I didn't.  Now I wonder.. and still wonder.  I know I'm not a prancer or cartpuller but If I were a ponygirl I'd like to be a showpony/rocking horse/carosel pony.   Now if i did become one I would like/want to be modifyed, painted, corseted, plugged, gagged and all the other things that would put me in pony space and let me loose my humanity for a time! I would/could not do it myself. I would tend to doubt the sanity and ability of anyone who thought they could do this to a human being. Especially with no refferences from previous subs as to who and what they were.

Trigger the Human Equine has attempted 24/7 pony life and even he doesn't maintain it long as its not something you can do for extended periods.

As one who does Pony Play "though its not always play " There is NO way it can be done for Years at a stretch , and thats on either part the ponies nor the trainers , as both need a break .Plain and simple the logistics are just not there .I would really like to know what this "Mistress's" qualifications are for keep a pony in prolonged role too , is she ready to clean the stall ? does she have a stable keeper that shall care for and feed and work with the pony or shall she take on this task all on her own ?Does she have a place to do this  for year round  housing of said pony ?At any rate i think its more fantasy vs reality ...

This really in my not so humble opinion is just on big fantasy!

First of all, it will be very difficult finding somebody who wants to become a ponygirl to this hardcore level.   You'll probally end up wasting a lot of time looking for something you can't find. 

Second, if you do find somebody to become a ponygirl like this, the fantasy is going to wear off, and you'll be faced with the reality of what to do with a slave that only knows how to act and behave like a friggen horse.

Well I did get to talk to a few of the ponygirls andguys.  seems many just live regular vanilla lives when not doing pony play.  Most likely that's all I would do if I did get into the fantasy.  being in pony girl is hot!  but I realize the ponygirl art and photos are fantasy too.  very few real people look like that!  but.. if  a corset... and a harnes.. and tail... some pony style eyelashes...mane...  who knows?

It's possible but not very practical, who would be willing to give up their personal freedom, belongings,their ability and freedom to express themselves to simply act and be dressed (or most likely) undressed and treated like a pony?. Would this "transformation" included the pony girl's food? how edible is a horses food to a human being?.

What about living in a stable all the time, how comfortable are they to stay in for any length of time? I'm guessing their freezing cold in bad weather, and quite open to rain. Someone dealing with these kinds of restrictions on movement,diet,rights,lack of entertainment and human contact would most probably end up with some kind of emotional disorder, say, depression, or be physically ill. I'd be will to bet both.

yes i have interest in this.  but never 24-7.  i would be mearly a show pony.

if you were a pony 24-7 it can cause serious psychological issues that may not be able to be reversed.
