Ahh, so you want the insta fix. Add water, mix well, and wellah.... the perfect relationship, custom fit to your needs ?

*All* realtionships worth being in take time. Vanilla, BDSM, kinky, yes, even friendships whatever. If you think putting time nto a relationship to make it fit, is a waste of time, there is little wonder you are having difficulties.

There is a difference between waiting in limbo and working on building something of value. And of course it's not easy, if it was we would all be in the perfect realationship with the perfect partner.

If you don't find what you seek, maybe it will be because you have burned thru potential partners like a drunken sailor? You have nothing but time, we all do, what's wrong with using it to get what you want, instead of trying out submissives like I would try on shoes at a fire sale?

A question for you to consider: Do you think your " hurry up" expectations may just frighten a few potentially good partners? Like others have said, it takes two, maybe a little more patience and willingness to take it slow would have different results.
Just a thought.

I know you don't want to waste time, but that's just what you're doing right now. This breathless rush is just taking you from one bad choice to the next.

As well as my previous suggestion - getting involved in the local scene - maybe you need to widen your experience. Some of the best Dom/mes have tried a walk on the other side as well, to get a different perspective. Why not try life as a sub for a while? See things from that angle (so to speak). See how some experienced Dom/mes operate, and pick up a few tips. As you've pointed out, you're just wasting time right now, so take a break from the search and get some r/l experience.

Then you'll know more about what to look for, and what you need to be.
