SRB, I have to side with MagikSlave here. You weren't trying to be rude but you did come off as a wee bit condescending. Yes, I read the whole thread. Sure, with her experience it would seem likely that she would have known but think of the number of times you learned something on a subject where you thought you knew all the important stuff. In the end it doesn't matter - you provided useful information and, hey, this is the internet. Grow some stones, people.
