The East Bay Area, California.

Now, as much respect as I have for San Francisco, I don't really wanna go there although I'm sure it's akin to Mecca. I'm a new Dom and I am looking to train in a smaller circle. I'm into the restraint and insertion, as my profile states and I'd like to find that locally...

Head over to google and search for BDSM and the name of your location. Something's bound to pop up.

sadly I have to say been there, done that. All that comes up is pay to play stuff and I'm really not into paying for it... I'll keep rewording things and keep looking but I was hoping to find the inside scoop here...

You can try to start eliminating terms by using a minus sign in front of words. For example, if you wanted to get rid of escort service results, type -escort. It will remove all the websites affiliated with that term.

Keep lookin'...they've got to be out there.

the Society of Janus has munches that are predominantly east bay, but i think most people will encourage you to go to a few events in the city. it is afterall a leather/bdsm mecca. google society of janus and look around, there's lots of east bay stuff. Also join tribe.net and look around for groups that interest you.
