i was wondering what Dommes and subs think of play that is competitive in nature?  i am specifically thinking of scenerios that involve one or more Dommes and several subs.  The subs are there to be involved in an actual game or competition to prove their a)willing to accept pain, b) push past boundries, and c) prove devotion and committment to please my Domme.

The games themselves can be as wild and varied as the Domme's creative processes but perhaps something with a set agenda of punishments (spanking, cbt, electro play, anal penetrations, enema's) and a variable factor.  For example, one sub would draw a punishment and then another would draw the 'intensity' of said punishment.

For me, such a fantasy appeals to my competive nature and it really gives me a mental rush to know that i am willingly participating for the satisifaction of my Domme and Her pleasure.

Does such a sceneria appeal to Dommes and if so, why is that?  Has anyone participated or organized such an 'contest'?  What were some of the 'games'?

It appeals to me.  Outside of reading about a similiar scenario In Exit to Eden, and a few mentions of such an event here on the forum's, no.

Try looking up sub Olympics in the Archives, that might bring some stuff up

Competition can bring out the best efforts in people, it can lead to creativity in an otherwise routine playtime, and it can produce jeolousy reducing the intimacy intended. I believe if the competition is kept in the spirit of play, and harsh treatments (emotional or physical) are not subjected to the loser, then competitions can be entertaining and fun for all. If in losing a submissive feels a loss of affection, then competition can have some dire consequences.

I've only seen such things on the internet.
I liked the idea of something that is called (I think) "thug of war":
Two slaves are put in a line not facing each other, a rope is bound connecting their balls, and then they have to move forward to pull the other slave acros the line between them. Mistressesd can sit in front of their slaves to encourage, or they may stimulate them by whipping. In my idea each slaves should pay a fee for the privilage and the amount of money can then be used as a price for the Mistress witch slave wins the competition.

It seems to be more common in CP (Corporal Punishment) circles than amongst BDSM'ers. I have seen bottoms compete to see who could take the most cane strokes, and a left hand/right hand Mistress combo who took a cheek each and competed for the most even cane stroke pattern. CP'ers aren't so commonly found on BDSM lists unless they also have other interests, which is why people don't seem to come across this kind of play very often.

Competitive games are great - but they must be silly and provide entertainment. The trick is to make use of the natural competitiveness of males with one another, without providing a scenario likely to lead to fisticuffs. Its also important that the guys involved get on with one another to avoid the latter.

I agree that the competition would have to be silly or inconsequential, or it would possibly become unpleasant. I was at a pool party once where several of the submissive women had a competition for who could pee the furthest length (in the yard, not in the pool!) and I remember some of the local bdsm events having games like "leather family feud" and such. But if it was an actual high stakes competition, I fear it would end badly.

Competition if it is done for fun reasons and not to decides let's say position in a multiple slave household could be fun if everyone involved has fun.

A slave of mine who took things too seriously would probably not be allowed in such events because I frankly don't want to deal with their let down should they not be the best. Unless it were made very clear that it was fun and everyone got something at the end, Fox would take it too seriously.
