LOL, if they were (my) parents there'd be a double murder-suicide.

I am perfectly happy that they left this state.  New York can have them.  I wish Bill would have put his library up there.  The damn thing looks like a giant house trailer.

Most Americans love Bill.

"A February Gallup poll found 63 percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of the former president, the highest since 1998, before Clinton's relationship with intern Monica Lewinsky was revealed."

He coulda banged hookers on the White House lawn during the annual Easter Egg roll and I wouldn't care.  I voted for him to be the President, not the Pope.

I didn't care about his infidelities either.  I just remembered how he was as governor.  It always made me laugh when he talked about his accomplishments with the education system here.  Arkansas was damn near dead last in education when he became governor, and that didn't change in the 12 years he was governor.  Because of him, the crime rate in this state reached epidemic proportions in the early 90's.  He never did a damn thing while he was in office here.  I never understood the admiration the rest of the country gave him.

I apologize, I clicked the wrong response tag, I meant it for the OP, and any other who takes pleasure out of attacking an innocent. Muff diver, chip off the old block, kick her out of bed, those types that apparently get off on bashing innocents. I'm soory, in my discust and zeal, I hit the wrong tag.

Yes he did, KatyLied.  My father was a Colonel in the National Guard here when I was growing up.  A lot of the state troopers were in the guard too.  I heard a lot more stories about Bill Clinton than most people did.  It wasn't just his little indiscretions with women.  Arkansas was like a third world country during the 80's.  They had people moving huge cocaine shipments in and out of the Mena airport, which is only 50 miles from where I grew up.  Clinton was well aware of it.

I hope she is a happy person despite the way her parents are viewed, both her parents and individually. Jeez that would be rough. So many people bash Hillary/Bill Hillary Bill that it comes from all sides.

Seemed like every time they had Chelsea on camera the poor girl was cringing away. Ugh personally I would have hated having to grow up like that.

So where IS she?

You had to "know someone" to get into the National Guard during Vietnam.
Us working-class guys had to go into the Army, Navy or Marines.

Actually popeye, my father was drafted in 1964.  He was from West Virginia, and didn't know anyone.  He went to basic training, and volunteered for OCS.  You didn't have to have a college degree back then to be an officer.  He served two years in the AirCav as a infantry officer.  He made it to Captain by the time he was 24.  When he came back after his 2nd tour, he took the initial test for flight school.  He did well and went to Ft. Rucker and earned his fixed wing certification.  He went back to Thailand in 1970, and flew the Special Forces on drops in Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam.  After that, he came back and got certified in rotary wing flight.  After the war, they cut back on troops.  My father took his GI bill and went back to college at WVU.  He got his BA in accounting, but kept his commission in the National Guard.  Shortly after, I was born.  We moved to Arkansas in 1980.

Nice attempt at making yourself feel important though.

So what! Clinton has not been gov. there for awhile, in fact, he has not been pres. either for awhile. So, go back in time, and why not give some fair banter here...talk about Preston Bush and his direct business dealings with the Nazis, and come a little further; and talk about Bush, the father, and Noriega, and the 'out of the loop' drug deals there, Iran, Contra,  and push a little more forward and talk about the son, his coming to power by virtue of his brother, and a yet another suspect second so called election, and the illegal invasion of a sovergin country, the admission by the entire white house crew..."oh I guess we made a mistake", reported in Time, Newsweek, US News, etc. Iraq war, the bankrupcy into excesses in trillions of dollars, the excesses in security survellances, the circumventing of the constituion. Or, just why not talk about Bush's alcoholism, and his military AWOL record which was a hair's breath away from him being court marshaled to a dishonorable discharge. It's all over the internet; but not here. Here we attack and insult Clinton's daughter.

But, yes, let us all bash Clinton for getting a Blow Job from some intern, and all which was yet most suspious; and lets not forget the 100,000 dollar scandal, which you republicans spent over 48 million dollars to prove, and could not. And let us forget of the unrelenting 24/7 Limbaugh slanders on the Clintons. No president in US history has been victimized through the media and press as you people have done to Clinton.

And after you get all through with that...then attack their daughter, ...proud of yourselves I hope.

You make me want to vomit.

And I DID NOT VOTE FOR HIM.

Dragone, I never mentioned Bush.  I am replying to a thread on Chelsea Clinton.  I never made one disparaging comment about Chelsea.  I am not a Bush supporter, and I did not support the invasion of Iraq.  Why do you think that I must be a neo-conservative just because I have a low opinion of the Clinton administration?  You sound narrow minded to me.

No they didn't.  My father wasn't drafted into the National Guard.  He was drafted into the regular Army.  Unless you went to West Point, you don't automatically receive a RA comission as an officer.  You get a reserve commision.  You can keep your commission when you leave active duty by staying in the Reserves or by going into the National Guard.

Hello, Well, I try not to be narrowminded, and I'm not attacking you personally. But, may I suggest, let the Clinton thing go...he has had nothing but nothing to do with the state this country is in, for years. And think abit; where were those shipments of drugs coming from, anyhow, whose planes were they, who was president and VP when he was gov.

The narrowminded thingie.....how can anyone even suggest that, when what I asked for was a little even playing field. And to bash, insult this girl is the lowest form of indecent behavior. What kind of animalistic brain would even suggest this forum. Oh, never mind, she is the offspring of the Clintons; that's enough to belittle, insult, attack , mock her. If there were any decency whatsoever with these republicans, this forum, banter would be apologeiclly yanked, but no, decency does not enter into the equation, she's a Clinton, so tear her up.....accusations, rumors, lies, who the hell cares, just tear her up...after all she's a Clinton. Now, if I ask for the Bush Twins to be given a little focus....that is a no, no....this is a Chelsea bashing forum.  And I'm being narrowminded?

Please, I must go, I feel I must vomit again, oh my first heave, I gave it a name....'republican'.

BTW; even Rush Limbaugh went the Chelse bashing avenue; and he even backed off....imagine, the loudest mouth of these facists backed off.
