CANTON, Ohio - The boyfriend of a missing pregnant woman was arrested on two counts of murder charges Saturday, and a body believed to be hers was found nearly a week after she vanished from her home, authorities said.

Jessie Davis’ 2-year-old son was found alone in their home, where bedroom furniture was toppled and bleach spilled on the floor. Davis was due to deliver a baby girl on July 3.

The boy gave investigators their first clues. “Mommy was crying. Mommy broke the table. Mommy’s in rug,” the boy said.


The Stark County Sheriff’s Department said a body was recovered in Summit County at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Authorities did not give a location but said they believed it to be Davis

Davis’ boyfriend, Bobby Cutts Jr., 30, is to be arraigned Monday on two counts of murder in the woman’s death and the unborn child, the sheriff’s department said.

Level, is there any word on the custody of the 2 year old son?
Is he with family members or in CPS custody?
He is going to need years of support and therapy after
witnessing such a horrific event.

Wow, as if everyone did not see this coming.  I do have to say though, that with his law enforcement background I didn't think the body would be found.  As in, I figured he'd be skilled enough to cover his tracks.

At such a young age he will probably not remember it thankfully.  He'll need therapy just for the fact that he lost 2 parents in one shot and when he grows up he will learn what happened to his mother.  Did they say why he killed her?

i mean no disrespect, as i have asked that question after tragedies many times my self. 

as i get older, the "because hes fuckin nuts" becomes more and more my answer to that though.......im just tired of folks trying to explain their way out of bad decisions and actions.  some are just nuts and should be locked away from society.  forever.

and a man who would kill the mother of his child(ren), then leave a 2 year old alone, fits that bill in my mind,

And does it in front of the 2-year old!  If he did it (whether you like it or not, he's not guilty, yet), he should have to look at her picture for the rest of his life...

I can't say I am surprised, its becoming all too common it seems. I truelly feel for her son, that poor little boy, when he gets older he might start to remember exactly what happened, imagine what we hear then.

There have been so many women that have disappeared or been murdered
by boyfriends or husbands in the past 10 years.
I still am not used to this, amazing.

I feel bad for the son, his Mom and unborn (sis or brother). It is truly a shame. The day we get over these tragedies is a day we have truly lost ourselves.

The Dad will probably have special protection if found guilty and convicted because he is a cop. As for the son he may not have been present but hearing Mommy hit the table and is in the rug. that poor little boy saw something... I am sure the prisoners would love to get ahold of him for obvious reasons if dad is convicted..

From what I have heard, the guy sounds like a scumbag.  But he is still entitled to the presumption of innocence.  I try not to judge someone accused of a crime before all the evidence is out.

I agree, but the evidence is coming in.
He also admitted to being there and helping to dispose of her body.
He claims he did not kill her, but helped cover up the scene.
It's on several programs as we speak.

I haven't heard on the status of the child yet, Vendaval.
 
One thing I did see was Jessie's father; you can see it in his eyes, he'd like nothing more than to have 5 minutes alone with Mr. Cutts.

Maybe it is time that the WWA...(White Woman of America) to have a meeting with  some  members of the NAACP or possibly some other black, or asian or hispanic group.  Obviously white women are doing something horribly wrong....For I have yet to see the media run a story on a missing black, asian or hispanic woman.

It makes you wonder sometimes..... but I do remember ONE story on a missing black woman, maybe a year, year and a half ago? But that's it.....

Why is everything about race with you?  You toss out the race card any time something happens to a white person and the media makes a big deal about it.  This is a big deal, she was young, pregnant, due to give birth any day,  her 2 yr old son was there and witnessed this tragic event and it was a cop that killed her.  This has nothing to do with race, it has to do with a tragic horrific incident that occurred.  Get your head out of the sand and open your eyes.  Everything is not a black/white issue except with you.  It was a black man and a black woman (they just arrested her) that killed and hid the body of a white woman.  I don't think for a moment it was a race issue.  I do however think it was likely a crime of passion having nothing to do with race. 

You sit on your high and mighty pedistal ... what are you doing to change things except bitch and throw out the race card when you get the opportunity.  Go protest with Jessie, he is there in your town, maybe you can share a cell with him.  Put your money where your mouth is!  You make me so angry sometimes!!!
