you're experiencing a very real endorphin withdrawal. indulge yourself in whatever you feel you need....it can be VERY hard on a body, both physically and emotionally. please don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I've found that long-distance relationships intensify sub-drop--one of many reasons why I'm convinced that sub-drop is not just physical.  So drinking water and stuff may help, but that's hardly going to solve the whole problem for you.

My pessimistic conclusion is that there's no way to avoid this.  It's just something you'll have to live with, part of the reality of being a sub.

I tend to agree with this.  The things I mentioned help, but do not make the problem go away.

Master sends me to someone close and local to me now, for a day or two after I come home.  She snuggles me up and dotes on me and is very loving.  It's sweet because she reports to him how I'm doing.  The extra care has helped the ache inside.  Other than that I accept the ache as part of my slavery to him, and as someone else said in this thread, I am grateful for it as it reminds me of how much I love him, and how much I need him.

The funny thing about sub drop.  You can almost look at it as a good thing.  If he didnt get you that high when you were together, you wouldnt have anything to drop from.  So, look forward to the next high

I used to feel as if my skin had been peeled away, I was so raw and defenceless.  I wasn't me any more.

Crying a lot helps - or, at least, it's unavoidable.  The chocolate was a good suggestion - it is at any time.

Do something for him - write something or make something, to give you a focuse.

Spring clean the house - you're in a bad mood anyway, so you might as well get the cleaning done.

Swear a lot.  Out loud.  (When alone.  Ok, I'm not a swearer.)

Shop.  But only to excess.

Exercise (Same theory as cleaning - might as well, you're grumpy anyway.)

Get the hair and nails done, do some girly stuff.

Gardening.  See cleaning and exercise above.

Go online - write and read and post and chat.  Find like-minded people.  (....oh right, you did...)

If you're planning on moving to be with him at some stage, make lists of all the places you want to visit before you go, and start working through your list.

Remember, it will pass.

Mutter mean things about people who tell you it will pass.

And.... live in your happy memories until next time.

I always wonder why people are inclined to begin LDR's from the get.  I would be willing to guess that there are many, many Doms in your area that you would find to be suitable...We all like to think of ourselves as being incredibly unique and special, in reality there are probably hundreds Domiguys lurking around this site. (well maybe not hundreds...maybe two)

So you are moving to Wisconsin?  My home state....Big Packer fans and even larger women....Don't feel bad about your chocolate consumption....If you are under 250...You will be considered to be a twig.

Good luck to you.  I like to buy and fuck locally.

*Gasp* Domiguy, you mean theres more than one of you? oooh the thought, and theres me thinknig the Domidong was unique ;)

Seriously, it was never intentional, I met him online when I was 18 so we've had 7 years of getting to know each other and had avoided a relationship because of the distance, basically came to the conclusion that what we had was too special to be disregarded because of it and so to make a go of things, in regards to the Guys locally, yep lots of lovely men, have made my way through a few of them but none that swee into my soul in quite the same way :D

And yep if all goes to plan when I sell up my property hopefully a move will be on the cards, we're looking into those options currently
