Ear building instructions: this is for anyone interested in making animal ears for their loving pets/slaves. Hello I am halo-ronin I'm here to write out simple written instructions on how to build a simple set of cat ears for your pet i recognize that thier are some pets outthere that might actualy enjoy having somethign to show that they are a littel more in to being a pet then you woudl suspect. Mostly I'm just here to make this a better community step one: select your colors what colors do you like? Black, brown, green even? After you’ve selected your fur color you need to also look at your subs hairamd skin. what color is it? for the sake of convenience say I have a Caucasian pet who has black hair and wants brown ears. this is fine the hair color has nothing to do with the choice of fur you use. its about the hair bands you choose. for this I will need. 1) dark-brown Hair band *choose a color hairband that will hide easy in your suby/pets/slave hair easily with a wide tooth seperation(i recomend about an inch. wide tooth gap) 1) brown fur *I use faux fur from walmart that comes in 15x12 sheet* (though there are pleanty of colors to choose form.* 1) tan felt fabric *again this is determined by your subbys skin type* 2) thread spools one for the felt*instruction later*tan thread. and a darker color for the fur to attach to the felt.*again instruction later For a pet with dark brown hair and brown colored ears. I suggest using a dark-brown hair band so it can disappear in his/her own hair drawing attention away and to the ears. *again* When you select your hair band I also recommend purchasing a solid wid breached tooth so the ears can mount simply and easily when you attach them beginning: when designing your pets ears lay the felt on the non furry side of the fabric your using (because its how it will mount later.) Take your scalpel or scissors and start form the middle of the felt sheet *NOT THE FUR* when you cut your pets ears you want to make a circular trace toward each edge roughly equaling distance across and distance long (A triangle would be best however we need a curved edge.)after you’ve made 2 of these. your done with the fabrics.. scraps. If you like firm ears I suggest inserting a thin piece of construction paper to make the ears stronger. and supportive. Now that you have two set of ears flip the felt and fur where the furry part is inside & between the two pieces, sew along the edges of the straight sides with the dark thread. leaving the curve open ended (if you open it up iy should be a nice cone shape liek a funnel) Just pull the ear inside out after wards and tada.. its an ear. we are now done with the dark thread. Duplicate this with the other one as well. Now with the hairband take the tan fabric and pull it till you have a nice cone shape to hold the EAR like frame. sew the corners of the ear together at you desired width. (I gave my ears a 1" slack on each side to give them a natural depth.) sew the resulting folding in place as flat as possible, you will notic that there is a extra lip to this tan fabric and you'll be tempted to trim it off. DON'T place the hair band underteh lip and fold back and in-between the lip of the tan fabric felt tucking it where the fold would overlap the hairband only. using the teeth of the harland as an anchor. sew tight loops with the tan thread. make sure your placing the ears about 45* from the top of the skull on each side. don’t worry about the underside that you’ve just created. (it should be able to cup your pets head softly now. repeat the same process with your other ear piece, and you're done. A new set of ears. for you loving adorable pet.
