What I'm looking for are Good slave Mantras that a slave can listen to while in the house, dungeon or caged & confined. What I'm thinking of here is having a looped recording that a slave can listen to through earphones.

In case you don't understand what a looped recording is, it's where the recording plays continuously until shut off and the slave would hear the same Mantra or group of Mantras separated by periods of silence.

Does anyone know of any Good slave Mantras or know where I'd find Good slave Mantras that reinforces a slaves commitment to its slavery?

Thank you
Master George

in my opinion, if a slave needs to continuously listen to a recorded mantra to reinforce her/his slavery, there are bigger issues.  service, commitment to their Master/Dominant, living every day being who and what they are, reinforces their commitment much more than a recording can. personally id ask for earplugs :)

cassie, There would be no more "bigger issues" than a Tibetan monk who does the same thing in a ritual prayer 12 times per day. Some other religions and cults do the same. As with all things in life it is the intent that is the important part. If the slave receives a certian amount of tranquility from that, or Master enjoys hearng it, it is all good.

sorry Daniel, but i have to disagree. at least for me, i dont need a mantra to reinforce who i am, and quite frankly i just dont get the concept.
a monk makes the choice to meditate. cults generally force their members to listen to the leaders 'DRIVEL'.. and in most cases thats known as brainwashing.  wouldnt a Master/Dominant want their slave to 'feel"  her comittment as something pure and natural ?  rather than have a continuos statement forced down her throat?
as i previously stated, i get that peace and tranquility by serving my Master..doing the every day things that are part of our lives. listening to a mantra for hours on end isnt going to make me more committed to my slavery. either i feel it or i dont.
however, let me qualify by saying that if it works for someone else,  and its their kink, go for it.

i'm required to send by text message my words to Daddy every hour during the work day, it makes me stop and take a minute to rememeber who i am and it really helps to ground me for those few minutes.....for me it helps.

You should do the talking yourself, give her your time, do it live, then have her repeat it back to you. Mistakes will require punishment. Then silence is golden. let her sit in the quiet and think, about the comming spanking, or whichever form of punishment you have decided on. Both her repeating your messages, you could also have her write them down, as many times as you feel is necessary,  as well as the silence, these will do more for her memory and training than any recorded messages will.. You will have to come up with the messages, if you need help with that, then you can tell me some of your limits, some of your desires and I will write a couple things for you if you wish.  One thing that I have done is to teach one thing every day while she is doing something else, then see how well she remembers what she was suppose to have learned, then the reinforcement with some punishment seems to make the message stick longer and with more meaning than just having them knee and listen to me talk. One of the first messages should be that she listen to every word that you say, never interrupt, and to think about what you do say, not only to her, but to everyone you talk to. Have her realize that you are a Master to more than just her, and your knowledge applies to all. She is required to follow your rules and to beleive as you do.
Let me know how this works for your slave.

This is not exactly what you are talking about, but here is my experience with use of mantras:
When I work out, which I normally do 3 to 5 times a week, I say some mantras in my head to push past the brutality of doing something I hate and is painful.  Overall, of course, I know working out is good for me physically and more importantly, mentally.  I have three currently.  1.  My Sir's name repeated in rhythm to the cardio machine's pace.  2. Do it forHhim  3. (most effective because it takes longer to say, so it makes the time seem to go a little faster)  I work out for my Sir.  My Sir likes me to work out because it keeps me happy and healthy.
My Sir does not require me to work out.  I have done it regularly since before meeting him, but I still HATE it.  He likes me to do it for a number of reasons, but my health (physical and mental) and happiness are on the top of that list.  He does not require me to say or listen to mantras, but it really does help me push to do the last 10, 15, 45 minutes of cardio (sometimes, I have to start the mantras after just a few minutes into it, other times I just need them for the very end).

Personally, a "slave mantra" would never do it for me - at least not in the form of someone repeating it constantly throughout a period of time. Just as someone has already said here, I'd go insane - but then, I have never  been one to accept schlocky trite phrases for anything, so while I understand the concept of ritualistic mantras, I have none to offer.

And I'm thinking that what I have to sometimes tell myself in my "den of solitary contemplation" (ok, the car as I drive to and from work, but doesn't it just SOUND so much more romantic - or whatever - calling it a "den of solitary contemplation"?) is not exactly what you're looking for.

You see, many internal problems are solved in that "den of solitary contemplation." And for the times when I'm really conflicted, I just say this:

"Look! You WANTED this. You LOOKED for this. You've put time and effort and your DEVOTION into this. Now you have it. If you don't want it. LEAVE. If you do, SHUT THE FUCK UP."

While for me, it seems to work every time, I'm thinking that's not exactly what you're looking for.

I've gotten a lot of good feedback about my personal mantra in my profile, if you want to take a look. But I've never heard of any commercially produced Slave Mantras or anything; only mine and others' quotes.

Your Ignorance on this concept is rather apparent... but yet it doesn't stop you from making a judgement of it.

Mantras are a powerful tool, and they are widely misunderstood in the population at large. The words cult and kink have been attached to it, and neither are accurate. Wanting the use of a mantra does not mean there are more serious issues involved, nor does it mean that someone is not who they are supposed to be in the relationship.

Mantras, simply put, are a tool. A tool for training the mind. I suppose you could call it a kind of brainwashing, but it is self brainwashing, not being perpetrated on you by some evil cult leader.

To answer the OP's question, I don't know of any such book. I would try a search for "slave mantras" and combinations like that on Google and see what comes up.

Finally, MagiksSlave was making a joke, but what she said is important to note on how NOT to create a mantra. You never want to create a mantra in the negative, like her "I will not go insane I will not go insane". The mind does not hear the not, and only focuses on "insane". A proper mantra for that example would be "I AM mentally stable, calm and rational", or something to that effect. This part is really important for anyone who wants to make up their own mantra. Always make it a positive statement; what you want to happen, not a negative statement, what you are trying to stop doing.

I personally feel that someone else's mantra may or may not work for your slave.  I am all for this type of thing tailored to the needs of the individual.  For those with low self esteem may need one mantra while those who tend to have a lazy streak need another.  I understand the difference between a mantra and self reinforcement though I also believe they go hand in hand.

I also think we as top types need them too!  My mantra:  "Protect the pig at all costs" (Ok that really is a geeky gamer reference but when I play that game, it's my mantra)

I do reinforce to myself though:  "Remember he's learning to live in a ready made family with two young UM's"  I say that every damn day!

since when is someone saying that they dont agree with something making a judgement? thats an opinion. i also said that i dont get the concept,  that its not for me, but if it floats someones boat, go for it.
and before you call someone ignorant, which is in and of itself judging them, perhaps you should discover what if anything they've experienced or studied, in regards to the subject at hand.

i had a mantra i had to repeat at certain intervals when i was in the presence of my ex. It was short and i only had to repeat it once but i considered it a mantra because i had to say it all the time, meaning every day. Maybe i should not call it a mantra, maybe it was more of a ritual saying, but i understand it's intent and perhaps it was the same - mental conditioning to get the sub into the right frame of mind.

i would say create one that is meaningful to you and your sub. It should be your voice she hears not a stranger that will be more meaningful to her and have more impact. Also like magicslave said - so she doesn't go insane make it long so when it loops over and over again she doesn't go loopy from hearing it too many times.

My master uses mantras both in his personal mediations and with me.  When we first were together I had alot of problems including stress related panic attacks and convulsions.  Mediation alone was difficult for me. So he taught me mantras that would helpme focus and breathe until I could learn the meditations.  My favorite is (I'm spelling this phonetically) "hom nom no re ki kio" Which basically means "Life is a lotus flower. the deeper the shit the prettier the bloom."  I personally adopted a few Gorean phrases for myself to help me with submitting including "a slave's duty is absolute obedience and exquisite beauty" Another favorite I actually heard from a movie, Serenity I think, "God, make me a stone." and Master helped me to change it to "Goddess, make me a reed. Let me bend in the wind and not break." so that when I was faced with stress I would remember to bend my heart and mind and flow with my experiences without breaking.  Another favorite is "perfect love, respect and trust." which is a mantra I use when Master is pushing my limits. (and I have alot of strange limits left over from a previous situation - when we first got together being tied up could cause me raging panic attacks and now I LOVE IT)

I have been using personal mantras liek these for the last year.  Some of them I have created for myself and some of them my Master has given me.  The idea behind mantras is - like some have mentioned - that it be positive, motivating, and self-healing.  So while "Master is always right." may not be the best mantra, "Master has my best interest at heart" may be.  Since you don't know what the OP's  intention is, the suggestion that he is purposely brainwashing his submissive does sound a  mite judgemental.

To the OP.  I have discovered that some of the most facinating and wonderful mantras have come from the Buddist and Taoist faiths, including some awesome ones about the submission of a good wife.  (which I'm sure can be worked with for bdsm)

cassie, whatever on earth are you talking about? I never mentioned you, much less said anything judgemental about you. Nor did I use the word ignorant to describe you or anyone else.

My post was made to the OP. I described what mantra's were and how to best use them. If you found anything in there that somehow applied to you, you are inventing a criticism in your own mind.

earthy, creating your own mantra is always better, provided you know what you are doing. If someone doesn't know how, there is nothing wrong with using someone else's, as long as it addresses the issue you want to change.

To elaborate further, most people use mantras all the time, they just don't know they are doing it. I have a dear friend who had to go to an appointment with her ex to a divorce hearing. Afterwards she told me the entire time she was driving there she kept saying to herself over and over again "I am not going to get angry, I am not going to get angry", and on and on.

Of course when she got there she ended up blowing her top as her mantra was reinforcing her anger. Does this kind of thing sound familiar to anyone? The moral of the story is to pay attention to what you tell yourself in your head.

pardon me?  nowhere in my post did i accuse the OP of personally brainwashing his submissive.  i specifically said that cults generally force their members to listen to their drivel and that has been found to be brainwashing. that was in response to Daniels post, before mine.
its not anyones place to judge anothers choice. thats whats so wonderful about this lifestyle. choosing what is right for you and yours.

Dominic,
my response was not to your post. im still new to posting and i obviously havent gotten the hang of  it.  ive seen this happen before, where the post comes up right after the previous one. it was in response to another poster who called me ignorant and judgemental.
sorry for the misunderstanding. :)
