Hi everyone,

I've been away from the boards for a while - busy with real life stuff, most notably work.

Yesterday I was told a somewhat disturbing tale. Seems there is someone else on this site that has a name similar to mine, and when complimented on "his" message board posts, rather than correcting the mistake, took credit for them. After she figured it out and confronted him with it he finally owned up that the posts were not his at all. Oh and yes, he does call himself a dominant. Not exactly what I would call a stellar set of ethics. Seems this individual has never posted on the boards. So while the things I have posted are not earth shattering to any degree, and may be quite boring to some, and may even lack the slightest bit of insight, they are, at the very least, mine.

Ok I got that off my chest. And if, by chance, you dear reader are the individual in question I believe an apology is in order.

Peace and Light

ShadowHwk, Obviously it wasn't me,smile. But thought I would add a bit. The number of "players" and "wannabes" on this site are growing. Hopefully they will get tired of the real d/s population shutting them down and move on down the road. I have nothing against any other lifestyle, IF it is a true lifestyle. But the people(term used loosely) that have posted on this site seeking one hand typing material, or come to leech off the real D/s community are really an irritant. Sundew02

LOL
Being One whom has
been in this situation
numerious times, I
can tell You that even
with Your name copywrited,
Trademarked and registered
there will always be sumone
whom admires who or what
You are and will desire to use what
You have established or created
and I have learned to take their
tempts at use of My name as a
Compliment rather then insult
and as long as they do not tempt
to * cash in * on My namesake '
simply advise them that My name
is protected and it is best they not
use it or if they choose to not adhear
to My request and are cashing in
at that point I take them to Court
to uphold My rights. I have been
guilty My self of confusing simalar
names here on collarme. But having
a name simalar does not make it
Plagiarism. However tempting to take
credit for another persons works is
and simply tackie and does show what
kind of Dominant this person might be.
And there are many here who do
such ShadowHwk and purposely too. Of
course on another note ShadowHwk I do
not personally take gossip and hearsay
from others as fact and would with a open
mind approach this person and ask Their
side of the story as it sounds like You dident
do such and only took the words of another
and there could be a million reasons for what
happened and anyone of them could of been
inocent but taken to be by this other party a
guilt. We all read things differently thats why
its always good to get the real word from the
horses mouth so to speak. ~smiles~

Your words here are what made Me comment
ShadowHwk on this post and the reason being
that anyOne whom would take a third partys
words with out investigating the situation first
hand I also question Their ethics.....

Welcome back Hawk, it is good to "see" you again. Hope we "hear" from you again on much better circumstances.

Take care,

Welcome back ShadowHwk, we dealt with a wood a few weeks ago but I don't recall a plagiarizing Hawk?

I heard he rides a moped anyway.

Welcome back Shadowhwk,
Can't say as I've noticed anyone using your name either. I've seen others portraying different people but no shadows...hawks or anything of the like.

Its easy enough to check into though. If you have the name..do a search. If not..well I guess just look back at old threads.

I hope you find what you're seeking in the boards.

Final words from me on this subject. I sent the other "ShadowHawk" (Not ShadowHwk) a message, asking him about it - it's been a couple of days and no reply of any kind.

So with that I consider the matter dropped.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome back!
