WHAT?!?!?!?!  No smashed taters?  You cannot have meatloaf without smashed taters! 


I made a lovely brisket today with some onions on steak rolls and just a bit of bbq sauce.  Well. . . the other half also added some of the homemade pickle relish. 

I also got the pie crust made today, so I am on scheduale for turkey day.  Wednesday will be roll making, pie making, turkey brining, and parfiet making!

You can visit for as long as you like and we would LOVE to have you for any of the holidays!  I have the extra bedroom and you can laze your days away iffn you want, or there is lots of stuff within walking distance to see and do for FREE!!!!!  I also have movies and books and there are two computers also loads of board games.

Status: offline 		I cooked thanksgivign dinner last saturday for 40 people .. we had an early holiday so more of the kids and grandkids could be here .. it will most likely be the last one for my mom .. so was a bit bittersweet ... (phone)

Everyone got home safely .. but I just got a call that my favorite niece was in a rollover on blackice ..down a slope on a mtn road near Aspen where she lives .. she is 29..... Please keep her in your prayers .. she is alive and doing well ..but not out of the woods ...

I will try to keep you posted .. and yes this was written in stages .. not all at once ...
