That sounds great!  Have fun darling... I love cooking that kind of stuff and putting it away.

Well it helps to keep the other half from starving or eating "noodle bowls" or bags of bbq chips while I am away from home.  And then of course there are always those days when it just seems such an effort to do ANYTHING in the house and so being able to just heat up a homecooked meal is wonderful.

Yes I know that there are many frozen dinners on the market, but I am vain enough that I believe that I really do cook better than the way they taste.

not to mention far less salt and other preservatives, less water as a filler, and you KNOW what else you put in your meals

This is true.  I cook with very very little salt.  There are so many other seasonings out there.

KMsAngel -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (1/13/2010 1:50:21 PM)

Ya know. . . my mother promised me a homemade carrot cake while I was there over the holidays.  I never got it.  She either forgot until I mentioned it while I was there or did not find the time.  That really frosted me.  I did make her the ribs that she asked for though.  See. . . I do what I say I am going to do!  So neener neener!

I would lurve a piece of your cake MissH!

Everybody knows that you put cumin in chili.  But you stay the hell away from my kitchen with that cocoa!  Next you will be making trout ice-cream and deep-fried caviar!

Back!  Back I say!

fluffypet61 -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (1/13/2010 5:02:15 PM)

this nekkie slave girl is busy cleaning up the kitchen after all the cooks who have been here lately.

There is not a single unused pot or bowl in this place.

When she finishes cleaning up this girl will sing "Happy Birthday" to MissH and share the carrot cake...please.

MissHarlet -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (1/14/2010 5:56:33 AM)

Pointing to cake and saying ... PLEASE have a slice .. less for my hips that way <wink>

Tho I do like Aylees theory that if a cake has a crack in it ,.. all the calories bake out !!!!

Some people put cocoa in their chili to give it a touch of sweetness. I have not done so, but the next time we make chili, I might do so...if I can find the cocoa that is...

sunshinemiss -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (1/14/2010 6:11:48 AM)

I didn't know you put cumin in chili.  I never did that.  Hmmmm... I'll have to try it!

Next time that you are at the store Sunshine, smell the cumin.  It SMELLS like a good bowl of chili is supposed to smell.  (Or you might have some in the cupboard.)

Hanable -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (1/14/2010 10:20:29 AM)

And deep frying the cavier will intesify the saltyness and making ice cream out of the trout will intensify the milkyness of the fishies!  But I am NOT gonna do it!

fluffypet61 -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (1/14/2010 2:06:21 PM)

this girl is ironing the tablecloths and aprons.

Watch out for the icicles by the porch rail !  And please wipe your feet at the door.  The snow is melting and everything is getting slushy.
