Goes to the kitchen and does prep work for the week - cleaning and chopping veggies, mixing up a batch of pancake mix, laying out clean cutler...
Looks at the left over roast beef and the chopped vegetables and makes a vegetable beef stew. Remembers that old saying... Men are like soup: you always want to have one on the back burner just in case. *smiles
Cuts some lemons for the water, and takes the left over zest and puts it in honey for tea for later (a little trick I learned in Korea). Thinks of all the cold people coming in. Don't want anybody to get sick. And yes, it's really good.
Makes a big pot of oatmeal with chopped apples and pears and some raisins for breakfast.... leaves the nuts out for those who are allergic.
Bakes a few quiches for later in the week and as long as the oatmeal and what not are out... makes some oatmeal bars for those people who like to take food on the run and have it put on their tab at Bounty's.
mmmmm, i love oatmeal with raisins and apples, i'll order a bowl of that sunshine...and if you need help, i know my way around a kitchen very well. (my cinnamon rolls are the size of a VW and to die for.)
Bounty, i'll order something from you as soon as i wouldn't feel guilty about you being on that bad ankle...who knows when i'll need another one of your concoctions.
