Well, it starts in large East Coast (USA) city... with a hot Latino doctor that I fell in love with... He is tall and dark and rolls his "r"s when he talks... AND when he kisses... swoons.... We were talking of getting married. We worked in the same hospital and saw each other every day.... thinks of the time he had a one hour cancellation, and I went to his office - cause I had a "meeting" - with a sheet in my briefcase and locked the door, turned the music on and gave him an examination...*smiles

Good morning .... dare I say it will be in the 70s here all weekend ...... now shhh Christine ... Sunshine is gonna tell us more of her story of why she is in korea as soon as she wakes up ....... with as few commercials as possible .. you can share my fan cause its gonna be a hot story we can already tell ... (edited to add my degree is from Univ of Mexico in Mexico City so I KNOW about those Latin Lovers even if it has been a while <smile.>)

My Latin lover and I were beginning to fade in our love, marriage would have made it worse, so we decided to end things... but we had learned so much from each other. He taught me trust and I taught him unconditional love. He'd been an athleted training for the Olympics (I'm not kidding) who had always had to earn - to win - to succeed - in order to recieve love, and I have it to give for no reason at all. We sat in a little Japanese restaurant and over a bottle of sake we ended our love affair, holding hands and smiling and laughing and appreciating what we had shared. Tears rolled down my cheeks, and his as well, but we hugged and departed leaving only the sex and dreams behind. To this day we are good friends... and he occasionally still rolls an r for this lil girl.

... and then the world stopped turning... One of my patients from years ago, a sweet boy who had touched my heart, accidentally killed himself. I couldn't breathe. I left work, not sure how I got home. My best friend came to me and held me while I sat in stunned silence. I couldn't think, I couldn't eat, I could only lay in bed, numb. Rarely had one touched my spirit - I couldn't let them... I couldn't work with them if I let them. Staying distant was the only way to help them. It was the only way to stay sane - caring without loving. All these broken children that came to me, whose lives and families I put back together with bubble gum and glue... But about once a year, one of them got into my heart. This boy I had loved. This boy had touched my heart. I resigned from my job the next day. I'd had enough of working with broken children. I had just been broken.
