Looks around at all these carnivores.... and makes steak and eggs for everybody for breakfast... stewed apples, tomato slices and hash browns with onions. and a big pot of seaweed soup (which is better than it sounds) to keep everybody warm. *thinks the soup is all mine though. Hands Christine her steak and eggs... sassy wench

Makes a huge pan of grilled sqaush Ala Carina Calabasita Squash LOTS of it ( used 5 pounds) fresh parsley ( half cup chopped little ) fresh garlic about 3 cloves or so ( ya know them little sections) fresh serranos... this is gonna depend on who is eating Half a white medium onion (sliced thin) Olive oil spray in the pan put spray , onions, garlic and peppers ... I use seeds and all ( I also steam sqash a bit ) Let the onions, peppers and galrlic cook a bit just till it starts looking a little brown. Then pour in squash turn heat on high and flip them buggars ALOT till they get some what soft and alittle brown on the edges ..... or middle toss in parsley flop on a plate ... Goes good with wild rice mix

Yea yea .. I know ..but chances are if/when I move again ... it wont be to Texas .. sorry .. I want woods and someplace it snows at least once in a while....I miss friends ..but have other visions of where I want to live ..... Friends just will have to visit me when I finally settle again ... for now all I know is I wont be staying in the desert..

Hanable .. no one is picking on you ...... we are all trying to help ... I notice the only one you accept that from is Bounty .. so wonder if females are where you strike out at you " mom " ... I wish you could find something positive to focus on each day ... even if is it only that you saved another dollar towards changeing your situation..... the more you can focus on the positive the more you will be able to deal with your frustrations with your situations now. Many years ago I was in a similar situation.. but was beaten on a daily basis by my mom ..... I took it for many years thinking I couldnt change it ... I did .. and so can you .. when you decide enough is enough you find a way......and it wont be easy .. just concentrate on the positive baby steps ....I moved out of the small town I was in and to a city and lived in a shelter and found a job and slowly found my own place.....it can happen .....not a one of us is trying to make things worse for you .. only to show you that you have to find something positive and to make changes.....no one can do it for you .....

Yes Sasy ... it is nice to be in your own space and having that bit of the country .. I never thought I would like the snow .. lol but I do miss it ... I know some think that makes me certifiable....next think you know will be moving to korea with Sunshine <wink>

I just cut my thumb wide open while slicing an apple. It hurts like hell but I've stopped the bleeding and adequately bandaged it. Now where's the chamomile tea in this place, I gotta unwind!

i'm with you on that, MsHarlet. i'm especially missing it right now with 100 degree temps outside. snow snow and more snow! ice cubes just aren't helping the fantasy at the moment - can't make enough of them, lol. and i'm sorry, sunshinemiss, korea will NEVER be on my itinerary to anywhere.
