My dearest Sunshinemiss,
I have lain awake many sleepless nights trying to compose words that might adequately describe the feelings of my heart. But every time I have made the attempt, I have failed miserably. Please forgive my poor effort and accept a trite and simple phrase: I love you. I think I can say it no better than that.
I cannot hold in my feelings on my love for you anymore. You are my sun, my stars, my moon, my entire world. How the skies and the stars and the sun long to be as dearly loved as you. How they envy your perfection. How they cry out in vain to be half as beautiful and radiant as you.
Seriously, the sun is all jealous of you and stuff. The other day, I heard the sun talking smack about you behind your back. It was all “Nuh-uh. That bitch ain’t nothin but a skank-ass ho.” And I totally stood up for you. I was like “Shut up, you giant ball of gas.”
I want to worship the ground that you walk on.
I cannot continue without you. I want to spend my every waking moment with you. Gazing upon you.
Your beauty is as endless as the skies and the oceans. If your beauty were water, I’d gladly drown forever. If all conceivable beauty were measurable on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 represents a test-tube baby made of the composite DNA of Judd Hirsch, Quasimodo, Rocky Dennis, and the Elephant Man, and 10 represents Helen of Troy’s hotter, younger sister with a bigger rack, you’d be an 11.5. I’m not kidding. That’s how hot you are.
