I don't see a problem with his Bible on his desk as long as he isn't pushing his beliefs onto his student what say all of you..hanable its been warm her today also,hauling horse shit and compost worked up a sweat here this day but I won't bitch about the work while eating those nice big mators and green beans...I am making some sheds in the woods for growing some ginseng and mushrooms...The ginseng will go to her health food stores and the mushies as a cash crop to the restaurants around here...
I see nothing wrong with the bible or the koran ... no one should push ones beliefs on another ...but I also believe we can all learn from every religeon.....and I will get flamed for this ...but those are books .....books to learn from ....nothing more to me.....I am very spiritual not religious .....
I agree with you MISS H,its only the work of men giving us sort of a guide line for living under r the laws the God set in stone for us all....Diane said the day she didn't understand everyone treating the Pope as GOD,well sort of and hes just a very religious man living as God intended for all of us to do,AS my travels and involvement with martial arts lead me to study religions from around the world,all are premise with the idea of one supreme God. we just have our individual views on it is all...
Now that I agree with totally ... I can worship in almost any temple anywhere and feel the presence of diety and pray and feel replenished in spirit .... it is all the same at the core to me edited to add I cant get the dang quote box to work right this time so forgive me and read it anyway or not lol
i agree with you both... if the guys not reading the book aloud in class or forcing his students to read it, and it hasnt been brought up so i dont think he is... why is it such a problem?

i agree miss H.. no one has the right to push anything, least of all religion, on me. if u wanna talk religion im all for it.. but the minute u start bitching at me cuz i dont believe in the same god as u or practice my worship the same way thats when i get annoyed. if u get flamed for ur opinions it wont be from me cuz i agree.. im willing to learn about anything from almost any one. i have nothing agaisnt religion or the books.. or most of the people actually.. its the nut job fanatics that make me sick.
the books r the interpritations of what ppl think god said.. untill i find god or i die and go to heaven.. i will take whats in the bible or the koran or the whatever with at least a grain of salt if not more. the pope is not god.. he is a good man who has been elected to take the place of.. well gods voice on earth.. and while i dont think that having an 80 year old man be the voice of god on earth.. im not gonna change it.
i personaliy dont like going to church.. its to.. formated. how does the preacher or priest or whoever know how its best for me to pray. i go to church to make my mother leave me alone.. half the time im day dreaming thou so.. idk how much i get from going to church. id just as well go to a quiet corner or go sit out side and be with god.. whats so special about a building anyway? its man made.. god didnt go "poof.. there.. u must worship me here" i jsut dont get it...
