i hope camping season is here asher...that's what i thought 3 weeks ago and then we got more snow. i'm hoping i can get my tent out and up in the mountains in the next few weekends, i'm dying of cabin fever!

because of my job I have to spend a lot of attention on the weather, and according to everything I can find, by the 15th itshould be perfect to camp in the mountains around here :)

yeah, I cant wait, gonna head over to the army surplus store (the one on redwood) cause they have some of the best prices for hiking equipment, and I know one of the kids that work there :) then, during one of these 5 day weekends its hiking time, prolly go alone a few times, or with a few friends, whichever happens :)

oh great, first MissH, now Bounty? asher, does that army surplus store have tents that don't weigh a thousand pounds? lol do they have camping equipment too? i've never been in there.

I did see some tents there, and Im fairly certain they carry all kinds of camping equipment... the store is on about 5000S and Redwood, its the Army Navy store in the strip mall... Wal-Mart might also be a good place to find a tent :P

i have a good tent, lightweight and easy to put up, i was thinking i might need to get something more heavy duty for when i got up higher and back into the woods more, although i dont' think that would stop a bear or the boogey man or bigfoot either rofl.
