I'm actually working on getting the frack out of dodge very very soon. Trying to collect funds and whatnot, actually.

I've been thinking... west. I telecommute for web design, so as long as I have immediate web connection available, and walking-distance places for groceries, I don't care. I'm a terminal pedestrian, being in a metropolitan area all my life, so I haven't got a license or anything.

I hear that SLC is pretty cool. It's a possibility, but not one that I'd considered yet.

Downtown is fun... but not to live, if you can get to someplace like Taylorsville or West Jordan its nice... decent neighborhoods and ppl that leave you the hell alone pretty easily... only drawback is going to a "special" store to buy booze, but it could be worse

and the mountains are beyond words

I imagine the cost of living is fairly decent out there too.

Yeah, see... 'round here, you're lucky to get a 1br for under 1k. And those are the income-controlled places. >_<

So... its been over 36 hours since Ive had so much as a nap, I have 4 hours of work left here, then another 4-5 hours of helping my ma pack so she can go camping (I couldnt find a babysitter) And then, if im really lucky I can get home just in time to collapse... but im happy, and that is what really matters...
So, drinks are on Me!

i might be headed out your way Asher, i'm looking for a condo right now and anything on the east side is just ridiculous.  i live in Murray right now and i don't think i'll find one here either.  housing sucks here but you are right, the mountains are beyond words and that's where i'll be in 2 weeks!

the only drink i can handle right now is coffee and more coffee, why did i stay up so late? grrrrr.

at this rate i'm going to end up past the point of the mountain and i really don't want to do that and have a huge commute.  i might look in north salt lake and bountiful next.

hmmm you need a scruffy beard too. hobos without scruffy bears just aren't believable. (especially if aftershave on shaved skin is involved in hobo-ism)

I have scruff, wanted to look like a mountain man before camping season began, so that when I scared off annoying kids, they believed it!
