Fort Irwin, right now. He's due back mid June, and then a deployment to Iraq is semi-shedualed for fall. We've done this song and dance before... c'est l'amour, c'east la gare, c'est la vie.

Its a song and dance I never enjoyed was in for over 23 years while I enjoyed it the separation made it hard on a marriage and children...

the phrase "if the army wanted you to have a wife/family, they'd have issued you one", is still thrown about. the military has difficulties, as i'm sure civilian life does.
*smirks* i'd bare this for none other, and that makes me happy. though maybe crazy at the same time...

sunshinemiss -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (5/20/2008 9:22:50 AM)

Hey there phoenix -
my nephew is being deployed there - for the 4th time!  i spent a little time with him while i was on the east coast... god bless them all.

and Bounty, the states are ok.  i'm still in culture shock (Americans are LOUD!) and i'm off to meet that cute lucious lips tomorrow up in Chicago and then to spend time with my family and poof!  off to Oregon ...

Hugs and love... keep that woman hydrated Bounty.  Give her lemonade, tea, water NO COFFEE though... it dehydrates you.

chau for now. (oh and i'll be off line quite a bit for the next couple of weeks... )

DON'T LET ME come back here and see only one line messages again.  When y'all sit down for a cuppah you gotta tell us what's doing.

that's all i got to say for now.
sunshine

The only thing i'm allowed to do in the shed is clean it...and that is Thursday's chore.

Please tell me what i can do to make it up to you.

i'm so sorry.

nah, sweetie, meant this person who brings a smile to your face! i read about your "you must kiss ass to aspire" boss in the other thread. but i'm not here as often as i used to be, and i can't figure out who this other person is!

he's on my profile now....you can find who it is there, but when we got together he shut down his profile so you can't find out much about him other than what i say, and what i have to say right now is that he is wonderful!

OMG...i could eat fresh jam straight from the jar, no bread needed, in fact bread is against the rules with fresh jam unless it is home made bread.  dang!  now i'm carbing craves, i mean crabing carves, i mean...awe hell i need some!

Smarthardhand -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (5/20/2008 6:03:52 PM)

Came by for a cup of coffee and heard about the fresh strawberry jam.  Are there any biscuits left over from breakfast that I can put the jam on?  Anybody up for a game of checkers?

Asherdelampyr -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (5/20/2008 10:01:30 PM)

So, how is everyone?

KMsAngel -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (5/21/2008 2:54:40 AM)

I'd make some fresh bread for christine and the crew so they'd love me more, but i loaned out my breadmaker yesterday, and kneading by hand is just too much for my poor wrists.

phoenixinchains -> RE: BOUNTY'S coffee shop (5/21/2008 3:03:55 AM)

i'll knead for you[:)]

Food processors are good for kneeding bread.
