it's a total cleanse, does your liver/kidneys and the obvious parts too lol. i just have to eat lots of raw fruits and veggies and seeds and drink tons of water and take a bunch of pills twice a day. last night i couldn't help myself and had a steak...with melted blue cheese on top rofl. i hope that's not why i'm feeling so great this morning, if it is i'm going on the steak diet next!

So, an ethical question Ifthere is someone who doesnnt want to sleep with you (or anyone else for that matter) but loves to cuddle, and everyone is fine with it, should you feel guilty when your wife's mum bugs ya about it? (even though your wife is fine with it?)

I can understand that. I hate fighting in general, confrontation of any type actually. And when you are already feeling down about something it can completely drain you to feel like you are being attacked on another issue.

yeah, without trying to bitch too much, I have been questioning my life and my self-worth a lot since shit went down and then to have someone question what is admittedly the most innocent aspect of my life just made it worse

Well hey there everybody! I am in the new town, not moved in - I'm officially homeless. Staying at an emeritus prof's house. Will need to find an apt in the next couple of days... but only for 9 weeks unless they hire me full time for the fall... I borrowed a bike and rode today. ohhhh that felt good.. 108 yesterday... and no air conditioning... well it could be worse... it could have been 111! lol *brings iced tea for everybody... It's too hot today. Serve yourselves. sunshine

Asher, i had similar problems but it was a sis in law. i finally had to just consider the source and realize that her opinion of me and what i did wasn't important even though sometimes she made it hard to remember that. i know that with age, other peoples criticism of me has less effect and meaning....i hope the same happens with you but sooner. is there anyway that you could take her aside and politely ask her to mind her own business? i don't know your situation in the least, but i know that if you and your wife are happy with your arrangements, that's all that matters in the end. eta: maybe you could still be honest but not as honest? maybe next time just tell her you were sleeping and leave out the cuddling part? i have to do stuff like that with my family still... ~~lugs out the bags of 30 lbs of watermelon i just bought and gets out a big knife...anybody want some?~~

good luck with the apt. hunting sunshine....i hope things work out the best for you however they turn out. what kind of class are you going to be teaching?
