Hey there everybody... home made banana bread, compliments of my darling sister. Yup yup... warm from the oven. And VP... the dog in my pix. That is Henry. He is a street dog in Cusco Peru. I adore him. One day I was walking to work and he started to follow me. Every morning he would follow me to work and then just go on his merry way. He never let me feed him, but he would take all the petting and loving I could give him. Well, I left for nearly two years and wondered if I would see him when I got back and if he would remember me. WELL! I saw him across the street one day and yelled HENRY!!!!!!!! and he looked up and came RUNNING across the street and jumped in my lap slobbering all over me, tail wagging to beat the band and hung out with me that day. I saw him a few other times before I left town. He is pretty happy being all independent and wouldn't go with me. I would have loved to have brought him home, but it is just isn't the way there. Lots of street dogs. I was lucky to have had such a wonderful guardian angel. thanks for asking about him. I love dove Henry.
