Another brisk morning here on my mountain top, the dog buckets were frozen this morning, the first time this year...Time for a hardy stick to your ribs lunch, maybe a hot bowel of chicken soup, a hot cup of high test...time to pull out the longies for sure....

Always a cup ot two of road tar for you girl, around the end of the month when its cold as a well diggers prick the walleye and the trout will be feisty and feasting,I usually set my rods with a big minnow and set in the truck drinking coffee until I see a rod or two dancing,I miss Michigan and ice fishing...
