Sorry I missed this welcome....the best thus far.  I'd love a cuppa and a chance to sit and chat on this cold snowy day.  I've just made a steaming pot of earl grey and some warmed-up no-knead bread a friend made for me...care for a bit with some nice jersey cow butter melting all over it?

Good morning MissHarlet,
I'd love to share my bread and butter....simple fare is usually the best!
I'd love a cozy afghan but I might get paint on it....I've started playing with my watercolors after a long time away.
Cozy would be good, though, because it's chilly here....I do enjoy watching the snow falling outside from my window. It gets the mind to go on flights of fancy...great for art inspiration.

Now if I can just keep the cat from playing in the colors!

Good morning everyone,well ol' man winter hit us with one of his last shots, freezing rain and snow..Spring is just three weeks away for hurry spring...No tea for me just a thermos of roadtar to take on my way...

I am back, boy it cold as hell outside with a fierce west wind, the temp must be well below o with the wind chill, a day for soup stew and lots of coffee...

this girl is stiring a pot of venison stew on the back burner, keeping the potbellied stove stoked and putting draft stoppers by all the doors.
 
Boss, when it warms up we need to check the caulk around some of these windows.
 
SHH requested a dish made with noodles and pork. 
Tonight we will have a nice Thai stir fry of (left over roast) pork, shiitake mushrooms, slivers of fresh ginger, minced garlic, red bell pepper strips and fresh bean sprouts; garnished with coriander and thin lime slices.  All this tossed with soft rice noodles and a peanut (butter) sauce.  No MSG. No salt added which makes it lower sodium than store bought.
(note for peeps with allergies - rice noodles are wheat and gluten free.)
 
Ha, you say...what is coriander?....Why, its other name is CILANTRO.

Cilantro refers to the leaves, used as an herb, while Coriander refers to the seeds, used as a spice.

Up here in the mid-west we have 6 more weeks of old man winter.  But when i come inside i get down to nothing and enjoy the warmth and freedom of layers     :)

Bounty's always has a pot of hot roadtar if you like your coffee like that.  slaves and subs help themselves to food in the kitchen or on the counter.  Masters and Mistresses, Doms, etc can ask to be served.  i'm the nekkie cleaning slave here and sometime i serve.  If you don't see what you want we can try to get it. 
 
Over there...is a pot bellied stove and 2 rocking chairs the barrel between them has a checker game if you can find someont to play. 
 
There are afghans to snuggle in if you are cold.  MissH watches over us slaves/subs.
 
The Boss pops in any time.

*brings in a big bowl of lime jello.  I love lime.  And we got lemon meringue pie.  It's a day for food that bites you back.

Now, I gotta study.  I'll just sit over here by the fire, listen to some music and hit the books.  If my nose gets paper cuts, well that's the price of education I guess.
