Well, HFM, VP usually leaves a pitcher of some sort of protein shake every day.  So that's what's shakin'.

i'm trying to think up a menu for tonight.  Bounty's had fish for lunch. (some of the fish still had its head.)  i wonder if the folks would go for stir fry?

Fluffy,

How about Perogies covered in a Mushroom-cream sauce with Italian Sausage, Green peas, and Green onions?

OR

Take biscuit dough, roll it out, then spread with butter, cover in cheese and breakfast sausage, and anything else you think would be tasty, roll it up, then cut it like cinnamon rolls, put them in a pan, bake, and then brush the tops with butter.

OR

Hamburgers and french fries.

Welcome Asher....you can help make the biscuit roll-up things.  Unless of course, you want to step outside and grill some hamburgers.

i wonder how a cobbler would go with supper?

Cobblers are GREAT!  I miss being in Western Co and making fresh peach cobbler or peaches and cream.  Or fresh peach ice-cream.  Store bought peaches are just not the same because of the way they have "breed" them to be hardier and the fact that they have to pick them early for transport.  Just like tomatoes.  Oh well.

Tomatoes are a lot easier to grow at home than peaches.  i think Bounty had some heirloom tomatoes last year.

Peach cobbler sounds good.  So does apple cobbler.  Because cobbler only has a topping and not two crusts cobbler makes a lower fat desert than pie.  We could sweeten it with Splenda and make it lower carb, too.

Okay, there are two recipies in your mail box.

I cannot find my pie-crust recipie right at this moment, so I cannot give you a recipie using that.  When I find it, I will try and remember to send you a copy.  It is the best pie-crust recipie in the world!  And that is no joke.

Not a problem.  Too many people claim to "not be able" to cook, when it is simply a matter of not having a recipie or being too lazy to use a recipie.  (I think that it is usually the second)

I stopped worrying about screwing up a new dish I was making years ago with one simple fix.  Always have twenty dollars.  Whether in cash or in your bank account.  That way, if dinner is inedible, you can just order a pizza.  All of the stress is now taken out of cooking.

Granted, I have never had to order a pizza because I screwed up dinner, and I enjoy cooking, but it is still something worth keeping in mind.
