Hmmm, don't know about the B6 pencil thing, but I do know about getting tats . . . . . Most tattoo emporia have a mimeograph-type machine that they use to make a copy of the artwork to be tattooed . . . . They then apply stick deoderant (of all things) to the (shaved or otherwise hairless) skin, then lay the mimeograph onto the prepped skin . . . . . When they gently pull the mimeograph away, the desired design is (very temporarily) laid out on the skin in blue mimeograph ink . . . . . The tattoo artist then (typically) traces the outlines of the design with the needle-gun thingie, to be followed by filling in the design, if necessary . .. . Don't know if this helps, but . . .. .
