C-section recovery hurts.  All help is wonderful!

The BB is 2 1/2.   We did healthy snacks twice a day.  Grapes (cut in half), blueberries or strawberries.  Club crackers and little wedges of cheddar cheese. 

Of course the new one got "mommy moomoo" every 2-3 hours. 
 
BB was potty training and we watched the Elmo Potty video 3 or 4 times a day - every day!
 
It was nice to get back where there is no TV.

Status: offline 		Believe it or not, i had two new cooking experiences this last week.
 
First - cooking stones.  She has acquired Pampered Chef cooking stones over the years and we used several different ones as we prepared meals. 
 
Second - self lighting gas stove.  The last time i had a gas stove was long enough ago that i had to use matches to light the burners, oven and broiler.  For some reason i had trouble getting water to come to a full rolling boil last week.  i am used to having available a large electric burner that supplies heat evenly over the entire bottom of a large pot.  When i tried to boil water in a large pot at her house it seemed to take for ever since the flame did not reach the entire bottom of the pot.

Actually she only started the washer for a whole week.  Then it all jumped into the dryer by itself and folded itself - and dad's clothes came out of the dryer on hangers, too.
 
i come fairly cheap, just feed me and let me sleep on the sofa.  But you have to give birth to GET ME ON THAT BUS AGAIN!


You know fluffy I used to wonder how they came out all folded and my miltary unis all creassed in the right spot,I thought we had a laundry fariry in the house until I had to learn to do it all smile..I enjoy a bus trip from time to time, you meet the most interesting folks..I used to ride the grey dawg from the east coast when I needed to material for  book or a maz and fly back...I was a mech for trailways in DC for 3 years one of  the most interesting jobs I ever had rebuilding trans and engines....Now the soap opra is to ride the train from say NYC to alanta ga noe w talking about an experience smile..

Status: offline 		Grabs a pot, this is a long rant lol...I had a GOD awful night last night..It all started with the 'REVENGE OF THE RACCOONS' yeper a family of 5 broke in to the shed where I keep the dog and horse feed and of course every damm dog on the house went nuts, Ringo broke out of his kennel and the chase was on for 2 hours,I finial got him off the tree and home boy oh some sleepy time coming, "its was 4.30 am in the morning"..my mare star decided it was time to visit ol' dad so she got the gate unlatched and came up the road to the house leaving the boys slumbering in their stalls,She came in the yard and started whining, so of course it unloosed the pack from hell barking their asses off..After sweetly putting my girl to bed I knew for sure I was going to get back to bed and sleep, YEAH RIGHT on the way back I twisted my bad ankle and ended up in bed with a ice pack in fact I still have one on..My neighbors are pretty nice but as soon as my ass hit the bed my closest one call asking if I need some help, yeah Right where was he when I was dragging a 100 pound dawg home Thur the woods with a bad ankle...So my rant is over, its all about becoming a dawg Barron and putting up with the joys and tribulation of ownership smile..

OK, Boss, the rocking chair is ready for you.  Next to it is the table with an afternoon iced mint tea and chicken/veggie wrap.  It's just cloudy and 73 F with an 8 mph wind from the NorthWest.

TY fluffy that mint tea sounds great, the woman of my house just made a meat loft and we are having garden fresh green beans and mash taters with a corn bread for supper tonight..The wrap will hold me till supper time...its kind of cool here on my mountain top this evening and the my baby has the air cranked up enought to freeze your dip stick off, have to sit on the porch to get warm lol...

Good evening girl and yes I have a very smart girl, I wouldn't own any other kind smile,I had to padlock the gates as she is very proficient at opening latches and her son Danny is a great little knot untier lol...gotta keep your eye on them....No I haven't seen the horse thread yet..

Status: offline 		Good Morning!  It's a beautiful day here in the mountains of West Virginia.  It is sunny, 72 F, wind from the Southwest at 9 mph, humidity 68% and the high is forecasted to go to 81 F this afternoon.
 
Whole Wheat Cranberry Pancakes this morning.  This batch used up all the remaining frozen cranberries - these are whole unsweetened berries that were tossed into the freezer last holidays.  Today they are lightly sweetened with Splenda so the pancakes won't be too tart.
 
Bananas for those folks trying to keep their potassium levels up.
 
Coffee, Tea, Road Tar, Milk, Juice.
