It started out as a cool day here at Bounty's.  51 F when i got up at 8am and now 64 F at 11am.  There is a 6 mph breeze.

Dinner today is slow cooked (in cast iron) pot roast with carrots, potatoes, onion rings, mushrooms, and celery.
Garlic toast, cheesy biscuits or cornbread to go with it.

Is lamb common in your grocery place?
A friend and i went on quite a hunt for it, some years back in Louisianna. We wanted to make gyros... we never found so much as an echooing Baaah.

edited for the typos i found... could be more

lamb seems to be the meat of choice for aussies.

australia was built on the back of sheepies - wool mostly, but lamb meat being a wonderful by-product of wool

The regions of the US i've lived in are like that, but of cattle instead. Fascinating how much a part of life it is, when you think about it.
It's been my exp' that Americans don't care to venture away from cow, chicken, or pig.
It's really a shame. Mutton, i think has a great flavor. but i am a shameless carnivor,,, i like meat, a lot.

Have you ever had deer? Among Americans, it's about as adventurous as most go. Great lols.

Said like a true fiber artist.  Have you fondled any fine wool fabric recently, Angel?

(read and replied)

It's Thursday and that's the day this girl cleans and restocks the shed.   A good rub down of the John Deere with disinfectant is followed by a light coating of car wax.
