Through the walls, my neighbor's vacuum sounds like a bear with a tooth ache.
i love my sweeper, no plugs or noise, just a tidy carpet.

*sips mnt. dew and inspects rugs to see if they need cleaned*

Better still, imho, is hard wood floor and area rug, then all you have to do is take them outside and beat them.

i have heard a bear moan, but i don't think he had a tooth ache. Unless you count a wonderful gamer friend i know, poor fellow. Tooth aches make some extreme moans, and if i imagined the bear's moan on tooth ache level,,, well that would be like the noise of the vacuum. It is a sound that calls out "Get away!" or maybe that's just my inner-cat.

Argh!

I was looking for a zoo internship and getting the vet in and stuff.  I was picturing you as a Terry Irwin.

Funny, the human bear had that thing where you fall asleep in the middle of your normal day...
Other gamers and i used to narate our "bear hunt" in Austrailian accents as we'd follow the sounds of his snores to see where he had fallen asleep whichever time.
LOL. The such were the adventures of Ben, Wallace, and Margeret, later renamed Little Maggie, but oh, that would lead me down the gamer-trap of; "No kidding, there i was..."

Stop me now before it's too late.

Funny but in this last year we have been covered up in bears in out area thanks to the relaxed hunting laws where you can run as many dogs that you want and they come in here since most of the land around here is posted and the farmers hate bear hunters cutting wire to drive there 4 wheelers thur after the chase...

Bless yer head.

Morning morning!  Where is potty?  I need a protein shake and we are all out!  THat girl's a slacking I say.

Mr. Bounty, all these stories you're telling are a little hard to bear.  So, I had some very serious people maing up puns the other day.  I love that!

I'm dealing with beauracratic (is that the right spelling) red tape over here.  In 3 languages.  Turns out I need my original teaching certificate - which I got in So. America.  I hven't spoken Spanish with Sanish speakers for a longggggggggg time.  I forgot what "Viernes" means (Friday).  So they will fax it to me on Friday.  Ohhh have mercy on my pobrecita alma.

Have a great day folks.  I've put out Mexican coffee to go with the regular road tar.  The lil cinnamon bite is kind of nice as the weather gets nippy.

did you know cinnamon can help control blood sugars? i keep a shaker of it at work, but often forget to use it!

one of these days i'll remember to throw it in some water and boil it up and then cool it and use it in my lil stovetop espresso! yum

Today (in Nutrition class) we are learning about protein and fats....minimum amouts for different ages and situations.  For myself i should consume at least 46 grams of protein per day.  (i'm not an athelete - they get more.)  Protein should be 10% to 35% of my daily calories.  The really tricky part is to get the protein without too much of the animal fats.

We are also learning what foods to recommend to get protein if someone is a vegetarian.  The folks who follow a vegan diet (no eggs or milk, no meats, poultry or fish) used to be required to eat a combination of complementary vegetable proteins together in every given meal.  But now research shows that it is only necessary to achieve that balance throughout the day.

i'm off to get the bus to campus next.
