Now that is the thing that I don't get with ppl who call themselves Doms or more likely subs... (I am not trying to be offensive, merely just thinking out loud and trying to understand...)

Whats with the defined role, but then EXCEPTIONS??? It is my understanding that you are one or the other, with no exceptions... that is why I personally say switch, however, I do tend to live out one role in sexuality more often that the other...
How many sub profiles say, that they are sub only to one person, but Dom a whole heap of others? Aint that switchy behavior?
Jeez going by that theory I am totally submissive...except for when I am not... Switching, to a switch, is not confusing, but it may be for me be if i defined myself to a role with exceptions...
Take it in a work place environment perhaps, we submit to those above us, and lead those to whom we delegate, is that confusy?

I have a feeling that it is not only some of the switchy's that are confused in their roles...

Oh, sweetheart, don't even take that condescending attitude with me!  If you'd bothered to actually take a look at my profile, it states quite clearly that I am a switch.  My comments on this thread reflect exactly what my position and life entail, and the only confusion here is your own.  I'm a dominant who, by choice, serves one dominant, and one dominant only.  I bottom to Him.  Everyone else calls me Ma'am.

I apologize for not looking at your profile Ma'am. I also thank you for taking the time to be looking at mine.
I was more making a comment on a lot of the subs profiles than you, sorry not enough clarity in my communication, if I had of been meaning anything to you directly I would have mailed your box and kept it between us. That is the kind of person I am. If I make public posts they are merely expression and thoughts of a generalized manner, unless I indicate otherwise. I am not into public displays of confrontation, debate, nor gossip. (Now exhibitionism that is a completely different story, a dark alleyway with the chance of being caught... mmm interesting...) I was just taking snippets out of the threads that reflect some of the stuff I see on the site here, not meant to be a personal dig, but now that I read back over it I can see that it does appear that way and I am sorry. I think I posted it close to midnight Friday after working 7am-8pm all week, forgive me if I was not comprehending my own thoughts in a conducive manner (makes mental note - do not post in public forums under these conditions for the chance of being offensive.)

Hey hey! I am the same! I am glad there is a switch option because I would be confused as to which to choose... well you are one lucky woman, that you have found your Dom.
For me, well I am training a vanilla (I think anyway) student in my dept in a very subtle psychological way... I treat him with total respect, and submission, he absolutely loves our interactions and I think he is totally unsure as to why, we are already in a D/s relationship, I guess, however we also have a totally professional relationship. We constantly express our love of our common passions rather than project it onto each other... we work together a lot, and he loves that he can be my boss already even though we just study together, he pushes my limits... yet I remain independent in my research from him, for my own self respect, yet somehow he always manages to entice my notes right out of my hands, and commenting on my abundance of male friends... hhmmm maybe he is totally aware of the D/s thingy after all. Anyways enough about that, not many in the public domain are interested in reading my auto blah, unless I offend…
Love the icon by the way, gorgeous!
I will flip you a private message soon, there are somethings I would love to chat about if you are open...
