ok- informal opinions on fly strips. i see mine has some flies on it.

do you use em?

They work yes, I just find them revolting. I'd much rather use a fly swatter and get rid of the carcasses and germs with a bleach wipe.

If I remember right you have a bird /birds in the house as pets, so whatever you do , no poison spray. Go for the strips if necessary . Just be sure they aren't hanging over places you prepare or eat food . And especially not over the place you sleep!

yeah- flies have a ton of germs on them. i bought 8 of them- stuck them where there was a nail in the wall. funny that birds dont need toilet paper.....
