Status: offline 		Silly rules prohibit me providing the publicly available phone numbers to their offices, but Google can provide them easily enough.

It's important they hear of The People's displeasure.

The congress cant do anything about it though. The president has the constitutional ability to pardon whoever he wants for whatever reason.

Status: offline 		The problem with some of the list here http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm is that it does not always give the correct one, but usually does.

Status: offline 		I emailed and called my Senators and called both offices, they are Democrats, I'm sure they want Libby in jail.  I know I do.
 
This is just another reason why we need to IMPEACH Bush.

Status: offline 		I emailed my senators and told them that the rule of law should apply, regardless of political party of position of authority. If they would not stand up for those principles, then how can I trust them to stand up for other principles they say they believe in. Bah, the Senators should go back to being appointed by the States and not elected.

Status: offline 		It may not be so clearcut that putting someone directly on probation without them ever having served a day of the original sentence  is constitutional.

anyone getting the local bit about heightened terrorist threats & how they are going to be doing periodic traffic stops???

every time they want to take the focus off what is going on, the damn threat levels are raised

I don't much feel like celebrating this year.... I think I'm gonna stay home, avoid traffic, crowds & the thunderstorm pattern we have had over the last few days.

Still wondering who is going to pardon AnencephalyBoy.

We go after Bush while he is in office, he pardons Cheney.  Bush gets removed from office, Cheney pardons him.

I'm pretty sure that Bush did not create this 4th of July holiday thing (with the attendant rise in police checkpoints) as a cover up. 

He is probably too busy creating more hurricanes to level the cities that voted Democrat....

I find it strange that this was talked about on the evening news but nothing of the sort was mentioned last year during the same holiday.

Normal DUI traffic stops are to be expected but the spin tonight was terror alert. Maybe it was just an overzealous local news team... I dunno.

Status: offline 		Actually the threat levels are because of increased chatter and the problems recently in Great Britain.

I just came back from a flight across country and the only thing different I saw in the airport is more K-9 units and more random searches.
