I think it depends on how much it revolts you, and how much you are willing to do for that person.  If he asked you to sub, then it would also depend on how much pain, bondage, etc. you would be willing to do.  I think it's more difficult to sub if it is truly distasteful and off-putting it is for you.

Topping is pretty easy, especially if the sub/bottom is directing the action.  (Hit me a little lower, no, no, ah...that's it!)

A true dominant wouldnt even ask you as a sub to do something that which is absurd and opposite to what you are.The switch in question here should get a clue that you are sub and subs simply do not make good switches or dommes ....do they?

Ok, well let's play devil's advocate for a minute.  Would I ask my sub that was straight sub to try switching for a day to change a mindset about something? yes.  Would I ask my sub to do something that they are uncomfortable with but consent to because they have an opinion and fear without even knowing anything about the paticular activity? yes. Do I challenge their beliefs about themselves that are negative (even though they truly believe it is part of who they are) and make them uncomfortable often? yep.  Would I ever force someone to do something I thought was truly emotionally traumatic for them, no, but do I push limits with comfort and set ways of thinking? Absolutely.

So, guess I'm not a "true dominant", and I'm guessing alot of people aren't either.
