ok so this is moderately embarrassing but i need some help figuring out where to start...
my skin itches when its wet...and the main area, being damp nearly all the time, horny little slut that i am, is my pussy...but its not a fungal infection or anything like that...it doesn't go inside...mainly on and around the perrenium and at the cleft just above my clit, i sometimes scratch myself raw, it keeps me up at night...its bad...but, my legs itch in the bath tub, scratching again till i am raw, before i even put anything in the water (shampoo, conditioner, body wash)....my hands itch when i wash dishes...
so heres my delima...do i go to a dermatologist...neurologist...gynocologist (cause of the primary area)...some other ogist?
help, please!

Go to a dermatologist. Tell him/her about your hands and legs, etc. My skin is extremely dry. I used about 3 different lotions daily. It's under control now, but for a while, I thought I'd go nuts.

I have experienced something of what you describe. I realised it was from the area around the vagina being wet all the time. The 'lifestyle'is such a turn on lol.
I took precautions. I used tissue between the vagina and the anus to soak up the moisture leaving my skin dry.
However what you describe seems far worse than that.
If you use a water softer it could be that.
Try washing the worst areas in milk or using a cleansing tissue that you know suits you.
Wear gloves for washing up if you can't get someone to do it for you.
Basically don't go anywhere near water for a while and see what happens.
If you shave the pubic area then stop. If you don't then do so.
In other words do everything you can to help identify the problem as well as seeking professional help.

I would go to a dermatologist. I have sensitive skin and have to watch what I use on it. I don't know if you are using anything fragranced down there (soap, shower gels, bubble bath, etc), but I would suggest you cease that immediately and purchase a mild, unfragranced soap (such as Dove fragrance-fee for sensitive skin) . Good luck. I have outbreaks of eczema from time to time, but never had it down there.

I stopped a lot of skin itching by using laundry detergent and soap with no scent or dyes. Worth a shot while you wait for the appt with the dermatologist.

thanks everyone...tried to not shave, tried to keep shaved...tried wearing panties, not wearing panties, wearing pantiliners...it happens whether i use soap or not (sometimes i take a bath just for the hot water)...i really wish there was some sort of cleansing tissue that didn't have aloe in it, but they some how think that aloe will heal all or at the least not hurt anyone...i am allergic to it...imagine how that felt when the bath wipes they gave me after surgery had aloe in them

hadn't thought about the water...
the laundry detergent is next on the list...but how does that play in with like fresh off the shelve panties? or is that a no no anyway?
as for the doc, the dermatologists have it....now i am betting that there aren't any docs in the office today so...c'mon monday...

Cold compresses for itching, nothing else, that is my suggestion for relief. If you can lay around, air it out an use cold water compresses. I would never wear anything without washing it first, ew!

Um.. if water is what is causing the itching cold water compresses probubly arent a good idea, however if you have those gell Ice pacs (i know ice in that area isnt so attractive but the less of 2 evils maybe?) use that, the cold will help, wrap it in a paper towel or if you have some very thin cotton fabric (a pair of panties even) you can use that. Just a thought, hopefull that will get you through till the Dr.

You might want to get your water tested. My daughter had a similar problem. We had our water tested and it turned out there was a build up of something in the hot water tank. Sorry i can't remember what it was-- ferrous something, not fungal or bacterial. We flushed the tank and she was much better after that. Good luck with it.

You can try Ice or something very cold, also Oatmeal soap. Apply plain yoguirt with a mini pad. Wash undies in hot water. I had dry skin from going to the spa.
