Rowling reveals the tears shed over Potter
Fri Jul 6, 8:56 AM ET

Best-selling author J.K. Rowling revealed how she broke down in tears during the completion of her final book in the Harry Potter series.

She also tells interviewer Jonathan Ross how she changed the last word in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" at the eleventh hour.

"When I finished one chapter near the end I absolutely howled," she told the BBC television presenter.

That must have been emotional for her. She KNEW their would only be 7 books, she is a true rags to riches story; she got millions of children and adults reading again, its incredible. Her 7th book comes out in a few weeks, as much as everyone is on edge knowing what is gonna happen, its kinda sad; it has to be harder on JK.

a lil distraction from the deathly hallows of which i have two copies reserved :-p is anyone lookign forward to OOTP comming out next week? personally goblet was a big letdown so i am bet leary of this one, of course that could also be due to having to watch Gary Oldman "Sirius" bite it.

I agree, I was let down by "Goblet"...the reason I loved the book so was the rich character development, and I knew it would be a tough go translating it to film.

as far as Sirius' death, I'm keeping my soap opera mentality on that one...don't believe it until you see the body .

I am saddened by something so wonderful coming to an end, but better it come to an end than live on in an eternity of half-hearted sequels, penned by siblings, offspring, maids, gardeners...
