Hiya Not sure what the feeling about choking is here but I wanted to ask for your views on the technique side... we have done a lot of reading and are aware of possible of the dangers etc. I have a beautiful collar, I adore it, it's quite wide with rings and gorgeous pruple suede.. but.. we both like choking and if I wear it it gets in the way. He can't get his hand inside it or above/below it. A lot of our play is spontaneous anyway so I tend not to get to wear it but if we do plan something then it's an "either/or" situation. How do people who engage in this form of play get round this issue? Puss

Well, choking (hands around the throat) can be pretty dangerous...a lot of damage can be done, but you also stated that you and your Sir are aware of the dangers so that point is moot. W/we always use my collar while playing and, if Sir has the urge to include some breath play (which i love, i'll admit it), His had is usually placed over my mouth and He moves it up slightly to block my nose. If He decides He wants the actual "choking" action, He places the palm of His hand over the front of the collar and presses in slightly....not the same as both hands around the throat but the effect is very similar. b

Pulling on the collar is a possibility? His hands pressing on and over it might be quite a powerful sensation, or leave it a little loose so he can get under it. Or perhaps.. He stands behind you, slides and arm around just above your collarbone pressing you tight against him, removes collar with other hand, slips his hands around your throat and presses in, naked flesh or gloved hands against your bare throat, before replacing collar and moving on with other things. Just some ideas to get things rolling for you both happy breathing, Ms Alizbeth

How do people who engage in this form of play get round this issue? Puss Don't wear the collar. It sounds like it just gets in the way of choking. Or find a different way to do breath play. My owner made a special kind of posture collar that has an inner collar with different buckles that he can choke me with (the posture collar can be comfortably snug while the inner collar is choking me). But when he uses his hands (versus use rope or a belt just to choke me) there's nothing physically in his way. For us, its safer when he can see where specifically his hand is on my neck. C~
