Status: offline 		My POV on alt or bondage or CM is all the same.
1.  There is a personality to each website.
2.  One is not better than the other.
3.  Different rules and guidelines for each site and different ways to monitor these guidelines and rules.
4.  You get out of the site what you put into it.
 
Mind you, 3 years ago my frustration over alt was huge !!
But, 7 months ago, I put up 3 profiles (the same on all three sites).  Someone of value and integrity wanted me there.  I have found a new set of real friends.  Supportive friends.  The groups are not sassy and judgmental or argumentative or sarcastic.  The groups are very different than CM message boards.  Cant compare old stale tomatoes with fresh mangos !!
 
I love the blogging option on the other sites and that others can comment on them.
I dont go to bondage much, just to check up on one writer friend and to post a ducplicate blog post once in a  while.
 
I deactivate my profile here.  Why?  I can.   I have been here since 2003 in some dom provided nic or in this nic. 
 
To sum all my shit up.....  YOU MAKE OF THE WEBSITE WHAT YOU WANT TO MAKE OF IT.

Still have an account and get those emails about "someone matched your lovedog blah, blah" 

Wasn't worth the time it took to create the account, in my opinion.....but hey, to each their own!

Status: offline 		Ok like many I have profiles on both sites. I've had to weed out the slime and jerks on both sites. I like the forums and chat rooms here better. So I think of it like a mixed bag of candy, have to sort out what you like and don't like.

Status: offline 		I've had accounts in both here and alt for over 2yrs for the most part.
I personally think this site is more geared to the BDSM lifestyle & alt is more geared as a sex hook up site now a days.
2yrs ago there was a big difference between profiles in alt and the sex site adult friend finder.
As of about a year ago the profiles between alt and aff are more similar.
I LOVE collarme & this forum here way more than all the extra features in alt.
The only thing I like better ablut alt is the mail box set up.
I also hear there's like 77,000 men looking for women in the alt site and, only about 7000 women looking for men.
After the new profile wears off in about a month or 2 not many men get contacted much, and if you write out they don't respond back so well.
I really like this more, but am in both.

Then they pick and choose which to reposnd too. Alt.com is pay site created to make money off horny Men, thats all it is. It sucks! Go get invloved with your local BDSM club and stop wasting your money on dopey pay sites.

Status: offline 		OMG i *hate* alt.com.  i swear if i saw one more cock picture i was going to puke my liver out my nose.  and if i want to wade through piles and piles of yuk-mo and fakesters to get to a scant few possibles, what's the freakin' point?  i can go open market and find better odds.  and on top of that, they want you to pay for *everything*. 

so, a question for the masses - is there anyone out there who is turned on by a cock profile photo?  i mean - what does that really do for a person?  does it say the person even knows how to use it, or that it's even theirs?  also, speaking from experience of being a human being and all, i'm hard wired for facial recognition, not cock recognition.  a picture of someone's face gives me a lot more to work with.

Status: offline 		I have a gold account on AFF using this same screen name and I had made a free acount on alt.com but I didnt stay on there for long. Partly because I found it a little too intimidating/scary but mostly because I already had way too much email to deal with from AFF and just didnt need any more.

So I can't really speak to the question about Alt.com, but they are similar except that Alt is more specialized and AFF more general.
But I have had almost nothing but great dating experiences from there, in fact all of the dating that I've done in the past year has been from AFF. Not a wacko in the bunch either. If you're a woman on there it's like point and click shopping from a catalog and you get some gorgeous/talented people to choose from :) 
Oh and the couples play is prolific. I have alot of fun with many different couples from there.
One of my dates looked over my emails from there and said " sheesh you get men delivered to your door just like pizza !"

And I had no idea that I was SUCH an exhibitionist until I got on those darn sites. I have like 6 videos up there now, 4 of which were made with other members and I also love doing the live shows. Status: offline 		I used to have a paid membership, but once they cancelled me because when boys asked if they could book a session with me, I -gasp!- sent them my website, I changed to a free account. I only maintain it to keep in touch with the few people on there I don't have contact with here. I also like their Alberta chat room, since I can actually talk to people locally, and I don't really find that on CM. I prefer CM overall, however.
