Okay in bondage gear and apparel, there is some argument about how a hook inserted in the vagina that pierces a hole into the rectum is unhealthy, I have been searching for information on the internet to no avail. I was wondering if someone could help me, I was wondering what could happen when fecel matter comes into contact with the vagina. I know an infection will result but putting my finger on the exact infection has eluded me.

That's because it could be any number of things. Do some research on what's in or could be in it and then you'll see.

The hooks mentioned in the other post were never intended to pierce a hole in anything. If used as they are designed, and with care, the idea is to have only the sensation and the mental effect of the hook in either anus or vagina. The links I have seen have had safety posts to NOT incorporate the hooks as part of weight bearing bondage. The hooks are either blunt or tipped with a metal ball, not sharp. When used in this manner, the hooks should not have any more physical impact than a butt plug during play, it would be the mental aspect of it.

Any puncturing of the rectum would be a surgical emergency, as this would be putting bowel bacteria into the interior of the body. A gradual wearing away of the wall between vagina and rectum from inappropriately applied pressure can cause the creation of a fistula, which is an abnormal opening into a body cavity. In this case, the body would have been attempting to protect itself by healing around the edges of the opening. This abnormal opening would allow fecal material (aka, poop) to leak into the vagina, causing a constant bad odor, brownish vaginal drainage, and frequent vaginal or urinary infections.

zindy, I just read the other thread again, and noted additional posts, which explains what you were asking. Duh, now I get it. *smiles*

You are asking about the photo link showing a sharp hook intentionally puncturing the vaginal wall and exiting through the anus. The information I previously posted still stands, though. I would consider this to be very, very risky for the subject, far too risky to be considered "play".

yes that is why I was asking. To LA are you talking about the bacteria that is in feces? Is that what I should be looking into to find what kind of infections it can cause?

Pretty much any bacteria (and there can be literally hundreds of different types...i.e. genus and species) that lives in the gut can cause an infection in the vagina and beyond, given a suitable opportunity. The types of infections that arise can be classified as "vaginoses", and when you consider that the female genital tract provides a means of entry into the abdominal cavity - well then pelvic inflammatory disease or toxic shock syndrome or peritonitis could be the result. Or maybe abdominal abscesses, necrosis...... gangrene.... septicemia....... one way trips to the morgue. Take your choice.

Although I didn't get into great specifics as to the causative organisms in the other forum none of them are desirable in the vaginal area. PID, bowel infections, skin infections....all manner of nasty outcomes.

And I think we might have created a small record for number of posts in the bondage apparel/equipment forum lol.

I've seen that pic, It's not genuine. There's a lot of photoshopping going on in it but people really do use hooks in the ass in elaborate rigging scenes.

That wasn't my problem the anal hooks, it was that picture of one going from the vagina to the rectum that concerned me, the one who posted it seems to believe it is true unless I am missing it. And my main point there is all the problems that can be caused by something like that. But anyway that isn't the point...lol...I was just wondering what problem it could cause and me being internet illiterate couldn't find anything on the internet about it.
