it is beyond me why these so called slaves on here are so truly rude and ignorant to people especially the ones with the cookie cutter responce letters. What is that all about? I personally find no houmer in trying to hurt people by playing them. it would alos be nice to have some kind of a responce from the so called slaves when you take the time to compose a letter of introduction and greeting and you see they have read it and ignored even saying thank you for your intreast.

Someone who is better than I at locating topics can quite easily link you to many... many topics... exactly like this one.

It's a free website. You are not required to talk to someone who calls you on the phone and tries to sell you something. Don't expect others here on this site to reply just because you think you're a decent human being. It's not going to happen.

Do you consider yourself rude if you elect not to pick up the phone when someone calls up and tries to sell you something? Do you think it's rude to toss a catalog in the trash without buying something from the people who took time out of their day to print out the label so that catalog could reach you? I certainly wouldn't.

Instead perhaps try being thankful for a site such as this, where you have a chance to meet like minded people for free. Again - for free. You aren't paying by the email. So what if you spent a bit of time typing something? That doesn't mean that anyone owes you a plug nickle.

i completely concur with this
To the OP;Try not to take it so personally if someone doesnt reply, or doesn't reply in the way that you wish them to.Not everyone was born with perfect manners, just the way the world is.For every rude person there are 10 nice people..well thats what the self help books tell me anyway [:D]

Bbare45 -> RE: rudeness (7/11/2005 3:49:33 PM)

I too wondered a bit about this. Then I realized that as a free site, all sorts of idiots and posers can come in and make a general mess of things here. So, I compose my comments and send them with the hope that I'll actually find someone to talk with. Who knows, it just might happen.
If not, hey, I'm no worse off than I was when I first came here. Just older and (hopefully) a bit more wiser.

Is it just me, or do the people who complain about not getting satisfying responses to their e-mails always seem to be the worst typists?

Thank you, MadameDahlia! [:)]

You are most welcome... though I'm not entirely sure for what.

NakedOnMyChain -> RE: rudeness (8/11/2005 2:52:56 AM)

I know that a lot of people can be rude. Usually for me, it's on the other end. I get e-mails with people wanting play, even though I make it clear in my profile that I'm collared and married to a wonderful man. Maybe the people you write just got a lot of mail and couldn't answer it all, or they're in the same boat I am. Either way, in the immortal words of M*A*S*H, "It's nice to be nice to the nice."

cmatrix4761 -> RE: rudeness (8/11/2005 10:30:04 AM)

Anyone can bust out the old notepad (and by notepad, I mean keyboard :p ) and send a "I'm currently not seeking" letter; I did when I got undesired responses -- it creates a better persona. I mean, why join a community if you're not going to be involved?

No. And I find it a bit irritating.

I could do this but there are so many posts on rudeness and courtesy that i won't right now. The OP can do a search if he wants, just click search at the top and put in rude, and also courtesy.

In reply to the OP you might get better replies to your mail if you spell check. Many won't reply to poor spelling and or grammar.[:)]

pinkpleasures -> RE: rudeness (8/12/2005 7:50:40 AM)

Much depends on your definition of rude. A total failure to answer is rude in my opinion, but another submissive woman may not feel that way (especially depending on what You wrote). A missal from a Man demanding anything -- but especially the "ON YOUR KNEES" variety is rude and gets a pithy response followed by block user. i try to answer everyone in a timely fashion, even if it's just "no ty". Having a Man write to me is flattering, so i feel some desire to acknowledge the compliment...apart from the "KNEES" people.
