I am a brittle asthmatic ... try making taking 12 different forms of medication before bed sexy

oh .. and the wheezing choking fit i get most nights, just gorgeous

i have dealt with it with honesty, this is what i am, this is what you need to deal with to be with me, if they cant deal with it, they are losing out on having you

I'm allergic to the cold and have an absolutely rotten back. It would be better if it would always go out, but it doesn't so it's a guessing game.  As a result, very little if at all ice play, the room has to be a reasonable temptature for a naked Kitten, and Valyraen knew from the start that I may have to pause sex or scenes because of back pain.

winterlight,

regardless of physicalproblems there are always allowances to be made, for the whole issue is power, both mental as well as physical.

Worry not!

I too have suffered with IBS, tho it always seemed to come in flare ups where it would be bad for a few weeks and then go away.  So far the only problems with it have been with enema/anal play having a tendency to unsettle things; and a serious, well-past-neurotic need to have the bathroom door closed 'during'...which is technically against Master's rules.

HOWEVER, I also managed to stop my last bout cold and havent had it recur again by switching to the "Specific Carbohydrate Diet".

http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/index.htm

Which completely SUCKS for a sugar-addicted sweettooth like me...but has my 'tummy' well under control so I can only complain so much.  The diet is actually getting more tolerable as I learn more recipes and get used to substituting, and also since I finally got a yogurt maker.  If you try the diet you would want to get one as soon as you determine that the diet works for you because this expands your food choices immensely.  A lot of recipes you can use call for home-made yogurt, and you can't just use commercial yogurt because of the sugars in it.

The only way I've cheated so far is by adding just a sprinkle of cocoa powder (sugar free, all chocolate, all the time) to a treat once in awhile.  Because frankly nowhere have I found any justification for banning chocolate except for the sugar added to eating/baking chocolates.  And we all have our weakness. *smile*

If we looked more alike I'd wonder if one hadn't been cloned from the other...hmm...

I'm just old and gimpy, I don't have any actual affliction.  However, my Fred Sanford walk I have at times must look pretty cool to someone, especially those with stiff joints.

*oooh, me too*
Chronic arthritis in my hips and spine. To the point where i cant even kneel for more than a few minutes. Facesitting was OUT from the getgo, and female-on-top sex is usually a nogo. Kinda diappointing.

Angel has a million health related issues which limit how we can play... from nerve damage on his chest to his extremely skinny frame and lack of body fat (Marfans syndrome). Every problem he had was out on the table from day one, and he gave me a few things to read on his problems so i understood what to expect when i got him. It hasnt severely impacted things, but the information made it easier.

That's not at all necessarily a deal breaker, and is even a turn-on for some people.  Just be up front about it and you'll find the right person.  And no matter what, remember that it is what it is and dont let any of the wrong people make you feel bad about it.  It's far and away not the worst 'baggage' you could be carrying!

I agree, we all have our "issues".  the important thing is to be upfront about it from the beginning.  good luck .

Crohn's here, also SCD. For over a year, now, naughty more than I should be but OK.

My problem was prednisone completely erasing my otherwise great libido - this is a tough one for play partners to understand and stick it out through for over a year but they did...I hope I never have to do that again.

To the OP, I think it's really important to let that person know what your condition is, what your needs are and what might help. This isn't, I think, a first date conversation, maybe more a second or third date one. You're not defined completely by your needs in this case, but they're there and they have an impact. Also it seems like flares last FOREVER but even bad ones do eventually usually come under conrtrol. Hang in there.

i have issues with what they consider IBS. Master is well aware and basically since my reactions are typically within 5 minutes to an hour of eating, we make sure i eat well in advance of wanting to play so that my system can react how it will and we won't have to worry about it during play. As with anything, as long as your partner is aware, there are ways to work around it!

Good Luck
