That's weird--most of you seem to have met lets of people from here.  I've met one couple from here as friends, and oen sub who had use fake pics, and looked nothing like that in RL.

Bondage.com is the exact opposite: I've met a ton of women there over the last 5 years, including my little girl, and a bunch of friends.  Maybe 20 people overall face to face.

I have met several people face to face through CollarMe. Some I have met and played with, others I have met with a view to introducing them to the local scene. The worst experiences I have to date have been "no shows" - can't complain too much about that. The better encounters are on going...

I've met a handful of people from CM, though only one was with the intention for anything beyond friendship.  I've met more than a few people from online in other places, with mixed results.  I never met a girl from a BDSM site that turned into anything I would call lasting.  Perhaps as I've grown older and more aware of how things work online, as well as more secure in myself, I've simply been put in fewer positions where I met someone without having a pretty good idea of who they were.  I learned quite some time ago, that nothing... n-o-t-h-i-n-g beyond platonic friendship should be expected at the first face to face meeting, regardless of how perfect it might sound.

Yes, I'm still very much in touch with (and being touched by) the person that I met on CollarMe (through the profiles side, rather than the forums) and whom I wrote about in the 'positive experiences' forum.  We've been meeting regularly since December 2005, with one short period of hiatus.

I've also had a few friendly correspondences here from time to time with people that I've never met.

There are alot of people here on collarme that I have met in real life, either at play parties or conventions orjust happened to meet them somewheres else before noticing their profile here on collarme...but none that I have met just because of collarme

I personaly have met quite a few people from here on collarme. males and females..Dom/mes and sub/slaves.. in fact I met both of my slaves here on collarme, as well as a hand full of others who didnt pan out. But I am gratefull that I stayed with it and now have two wonderful men who please me greatly. The old saying is true, good things come to those who wait...

Wait a minute! You mean all of those other names that post stuff are real people that you can actually meet off line? My understanding when I signed up for this online computer game was that all of these people who post here are computer generated and non player characters that sometimes interact with me as part of the game. All of this time I thought the goal of this game was to send as many "emails" possible to every "player" that registers as a woman. I was pretty sure the rules said you got more points if you sent cock shots and managed to get them to block you.

Wow, this information completely changes my strategy for winning this game.

Under my dominant profile, I have met 5 or so male submissives that I have never seen in the community. Most of them haven't worked out because they weren't really what I was looking for. I haven't met any women, even though I am more lesbian than bi.

However when I am browsing profiles, I frequently see real-time people that I have met from 1763, Pep or the sanctuary. Occasionally, I recieve emails from them and we ended chatting at the next party or event. The first young lady I met from here was responcible for helping Me to realise the offline scene wasn't quite as bad as what I turned My back on 20+ years ago and I've been out there enjoying it for the last 18 months. she is still a good friend (Though we haven't met for a drink and a catch-up for a while, must remidy that)

The second I Owned for 6 months but alas it had to be faced that it wasn't going to work. Also now a good friend (See ya Sunday if you are reading [:)]).

The next girl I Owned and tried to build something long distance with I first saw on here but made contact elsewhere. The distance killed us off a little under two month back.

Met quite a number of others as friends and aquaintences that I see all over the London scene.
