I personally have this piercing, and it took a ALOT to thought, research, and time. I have 4 gential piercings, clithood, triangle, and both inner labia. Plus I now have several dermal anchors. That being said.. the previous posters are all correct in finding a well established, and experienced piercer. NAP members are going to be certified, as well as profound in knowledge. Ask for references, previous work, and know what you are asking, and ask the tough questions. Online resources are a great source, as well as asking in local shops/events where you know people who have or do piercings. If you cannot honestly talk to him/her about your concerns, then perhaps thinking it over at length is needed. I know it took 4 trips in, talking about why I wanted it.. how it would heal, what precautions/warnings there were.. then there was an examination, making sure I was anatomically able to handle such a deep tissue piercing, the piercing itself, then the after visit which was about 4 weeks after. Go in, look at the shop/environment, ask for Public Health report, ask for surgical stainless, and make sure to get a barbell! Best of luck, and should you wish to know whom I use, or would like to speak with him directly *He is in the lifestyle* and local to Atlanta, feel free to contact me offlist. Warmly, bliss
