~ hello all, well it's been awhile since i have posted anything on here, so i thought today is a good day for that.
i hope everyones day is going great and that everyone is enjoying their sunday afternoon!

i wanted to also just share with you....that "Finally" bunny is going to be receiving her "bunny painting" from the Dom from Michigan, he has been working on it and painting me from my original photo on my profile here on collar me.............he has finally got it right and i have sent payment to him and it's on it's way to me now........

i am so excited to be getting this very beautiful painting of ME...
it's really me.....(bunny)

and she is honored to be able to display this gorgeous "work of art" in her home for everyone to see.

Larry has done a wonderful job of putting the right touches on it and displaying every image that he could of my original photo.
it is a size of 30 X 40 inches and now she just has to go out and search for a nice equisite frame to go with it.....

and then its on the wall.............. Just Beautiful!

I also wanted to say that we still haven't heard from "SirStryker", he must not have his computer fixed yet...........i am hoping to hear something from him soon.......
he gives you all his "Hello"..........and best wishes from b4..
i miss you SirStryker...........please come back...........LOL!!!

bunny -- I have a lot of original paintings in that size, and can tell you that frames in those dimensions can be quite pricey. (sp?) If the artists has painted the sides of the canvas to "finish" the portrait, you can consider running wire on the back and hanging it as is. There are several great framing companies online, and I used to have a lot of links to them, but lost them by the wayside. If you want to shop locally, perhaps AAron Brothers would be a good place to start. They have some great sales sometimes.

~ bella, i do certainly thank you for your kindness in responding to me about my painting! that is very kind of you to do so..!
I am so excited about getting this painting this week in the mail, i can hardly set still, but now the "real fun" begins in searcing for the Right frame for it............this shall be interesting!

If you ever run accross or find any of those online that you know of please let me know!

again, miss bella thank you so much for thinking of me! Your thoughtfullness is very much appreaciated.!

you're welcome. I do know I did have to buy a massive frame once for a painting I presented to a dancer at Colorado Ballet. I did his portrait when he retired. It was larger than your painting, and I think I got the frame for under $200.00. BUT, I had to assemble it myself which was a pain.

bella,
in your opinion, might it be cheaper "possibly" to have someone make me a frame? Instead of having it done at some high priced shop as Michael's or some other frame shop?
i think there are people out there who do wood-working in their homes; and might give me a good deal to make one and to also include the mounting for a special price!!
i may also go check out some antique shops here in Ft Collins too!

And oh.........he might just give me a "discount' for being able to Adore the looks of the kind of painting it is............
might i be lucky enough???????? LOL

Hope you get that discount! I'm not sure about frame builders, I'm sure they're out there. You could check the newspaper. They do make ready made frames that size, but they are expensive, and you still have to frame it yourself. It is on canvas, and they are usually easier to frame than something on paper which requires a mat. I wouldn't look at custom framing because yes, they do charge out the ying yang for that, and it's really quite simple to frame it yourself. Michaels' does sometimes have some great framing sales.

I do all my framing myself -- I save tons of $$$ that way.

~~ UPDATE ~~

wow!! bunny has just received her most beautuful painting in the mail today......from UPS! OH my gosh, i am so excited and the painting is perfect, and she is so happy to finally have it in her home!
I want to thank this kind and sweet friend of mine on here for doing that painting and for doing such a wonderful job!
I absolutely love it!!
thank you sweet man and i look forward to have you paint more of me in the future!!
