ORIGINAL: MisPandora I'm sorry that one of you doesn't have a good relationship with your primary care physician so you can talk to a professional about things like this. Myself, I outed to my PCP so that she can give me correct guidance where it concerns risk factors -- hepatitis titers for my vaccines mainly -- as well as discussing injuries that can happen to the top (mistress gets flogger arm, twists ankle in platform heels) or to a bottom. I want someone I can talk to who can give me correct advice on someone taking medications and what I need to be concerned for doing various types of play. She doesn't need to be kinky to at least be able to talk to me sensibly about questions like that. *********************************** You are correct that Altace does affect bleeding times, to a somewhat lesser degree than a warfarin-type drug. Beware that ramipril have a lowering effect on blood pressure, and postural hypotension can occur depending on the patient's underlying medical history and physiologic concerns. It's on the parallel with ACE inhibitors and beta blockers. In the presence of volume depletion (someone being excessively dry, not drinking their requisite water), hypotension can be more dramatic or sudden. Lightheadedness and syncope are side effects of the lowering effect on the blood pressure. You mention ACE inhibitors -isn't that just another word for a BP med, but since its helping the kidney out they say aCE inhibitor? what are the worries??? my husband marks strangly. beat h is ass, flog, cane, etc and no marking. pinch, bite or suck and he marks immediately and buises something fierce. He played with a freind who used a weed wacker flogger and a leather lace flogger, it wrapped, since his arms were up he has terrible marks under his arms and on his side. i mean terrible. he isn't concerned-should i be? he's not on a BP med, just a baby asprin, cholesterol med, and diabetes med.
