Mimeographed copies of worksheets from school..? When they were fresh off the press, they'd dye your fingers purple, they were warm, and they smelled so good ( of course, they'd probably make you high if you smelled them long enough......)

And I saw this one on one of those " do you remember?" lists....S&H green stamps? Does anyone give those out anymore? It was my job to paste them into the books.(My Mom hated the pages where you had to fill the page with the single stamps instead of putting that one big stamp on the page). I loved it when we got a bunch of books and could go down to the store and pick something out....

Yes.  I clearly remember teachers making copies in the office at our elementary school.  Quite the distinctive smell, for sure.

My grandmother had books of these with pages and pages full.  I don't remember her ever using them, just collecting them[8|].  Weird.........luci

I miss that they don't make jelly jars anymore that are glasses. I have a whole set of the smurf ones that came out in the 80's.
I alson miss the Atari Space Invaders game.  I know they made one for playstation but it just wasn't the same.

cheetos cheese balls. Man, I loved those things. I even considered buying some when I found a bunch a few months back in a ghetto everythings a dollar store. Sanity quickly returned though.

I was overjoyed when they brought back the sponge, myself *insert seinfeld joke here*..as for food products, nothing off the top of my head. They do still make candy cigarettes..but now they call them candy "sticks"..most dollar stores have them...still in the little boxes, but now they have cartoon characters on them instead of cheesy cigarette names. Mmm..also still making Count Chocula (along with frankenberry, et al). You can also still find jelly jar glasses (welch's jelly), but they are hard to find, I scoop them up when I see them..lucky for me the lil one loves jelly....

-edited to add...they recently brought back jello pudding pops..I about passed out when I saw them and bought some..lol. You can also still buy lawn darts -evil laugh-..just put the set on the side of the lawn with the neighbor you don't like...-

the meijers chain store sells a shampoo made in mexico called vanart. its a very large bottle. same green same smell. i used the herbal essence exclusively during my teen years. by the way the store is online also and the price is under $3. i just love it.

Tape recorders because in those days piracy was easy you just had to hold down play and record buttons and it worked for music and games.
