Hello all,

I have recently met a sub whom I am very attracted to. We are just talking at this point.  What has me worried is that she has just recently started to do scenes in the porn industry.  Aside from the usual emotional issues, I am extremely worried about the STD potential.  Can anybody at all offer me any advice or perspective?

Assess the risks.  Take what reasonable action you find necessary and make your own choices.

Seriously, being a porn actor might raise the risk, but then they might also be more aware of the risk and take more precautions than the average person.  We're all a blank unknown when we meet eachother, no matter how many people we fuck.

Most of the larger studios these days have pretty strict health and substance policies.  Ask her what they are.  Talk to her about what exposure she has -- do the actors use barrier devices for anything penetration-related?  Are you willing to as well?   Make sure you both have pre-testing and periodic testing done.

uh I'm not an expert by any means lol, but I believe they test for STDs before had, at least the main studios or wahtever, so unless it is a guy wiht a van and a camcorder I dont think the health issue is that significant

I simply would not have sex with her until I saw her get tested.  And even then, it's a trust issue.  Some of those STD tests can take a while before you get the results, and you have to be sure she's not nailing anyone new in the meantime. 

Here's the test I do myself when I'm considering whether or not to sleep with a girl:  1.  Jerk off.  2.  Make the decision during the five minutes of zero sex drive after an orgasm.
