Ok...I was forced to eat my ex's shit a few times.......I finally broke free from him ...BUT...I have been sick for almost a year now....and they have traced it back to being forced to do this. Doctors have told me that the virus that I have caught from this could take 2 to 3 years to totally clear up. I am able to functin most of the time...I just need a lot of sleep and take my antibotics every day. But it is something I would not recommened anyone to do if given the chance.

This is a disgrace.

I quite get that this is something that will churn most people's stomachs, as there are (a few) things that will churn mine. This is not one of them. It is something I engaged in at some point in the distant past, in fact. For me, as it seems to be for the Japanese, it was the taboo aspect that held the appeal, as the interest disappeared once I systematically deconstructed the social mores I had been imprinted with over the years.

Others will have other reasons for engaging in it, or having engaged in it.

Feedback like this can be a great way to drive people back into not posting, not getting the safety info they need, and feeling ashamed of what they are doing. And don't bring up the straw-man argument of how "this is the Internet, so people have to grow harder skin". There are humans like yourself on the other end of the screen, and if you are capable of consenting to WIITWD, you are capable of remembering that. Most of us have taken shit (no pun intended) from vanillas for what we do, and would prefer to do without it.

No need to bring hypocrisy to the table.

The topic is clearly labelled, and if you react that badly to the topic, you pretty much knew up front you were going to have this reaction to the thread. Why then even click on it in the first place? And, seeing as though this isn't your thing and you don't really have anything constructive to add (scorn doesn't count), what is it with coming in here and posting in such a condescending manner?

If you don't approve, just leave it at "This isn't my thing" if you have to comment.
Or, as LadyHeart said, "expect to be shown the door".

I most certainly will not apologize for simply stating my opinion. I said I didn't understand why "some people" need to resort to such things in order to feel powerful, but I did not address anyone specifically by name. I'm entitled to my opinion and to post it here just like anyone else. If You or anyone else disagrees with said opinion, then fine. I certainly do not expect You to apologize for that. Kindly grant me the same privilege.

Hardly a disgrace. The recurring theme in all the posts with which you have issue is "it's not for me". Considering how the OP was asking for feedback and advice, there is nothing wrong with this. There is quite a bit right with it.

There used to be a fairly educational article on gapingmaw.com about this (and as far as i know, it was actually the first appearance of the image that is now known as "tubgirl")... apparently Japan has very strict rules about showing genitalia in images and movies, but no laws to speak of regarding a lot of other things that we regard as highly taboo (including some violations of the TOS here). I think those who say that there should be no criticism of a kink that is not shared especially as in this case "brown showers" are just plain wrong.

The Japanese find the display of pubic hair particularly obscene. You'll often see it airbrushed or pixelated, while the genitals and anus can be shown.

And, no, it's not primal. It's a deep-seated taboo, which can be just as powerful.

Throwing it at each other is primal. Monkeys do that, so it's probably in human nature as well. But humans have invented symbolic language. So we fling insults and such at each other instead, which is the same behaviour as monkeys flinging shit, just without the physically hard work. Just have a look around the board, and you'll see some of it, though fortunately not as much as elsewhere, yet. It must be satisfying on some deeper level, going by some posts around the board.

Note also that, as LadyHeart said, the TOS pretty much says what I have said here.

I thought they censored genitals as well? As an amusing anecdote, the same kind of loophole existed in Norwegian law years ago. You could show pretty much any kink, as long as there weren't erections, engorged clitori, or visible penetration. Those could only be shown in educational movies. Recently, however, someone took it to court and had it changed to conform with the more modern community standards instead, which means both are in the clear now.
