Oh my good luck. I really love the idea but i think you i would probably pass out from fear before the brand ever touched me. hmm...maybe that would be a good thing. Do tell us out it went though. I am generally of awe of submissives who do this and would love to hear what you both think of it after. :)

The meeting went very very well. Turns out he was trained to do brandings by Fakir, so we have that going for us. We are going to rent the local playspace for the branding, then have a kind of mini-party after for friends. For those who wanted to know, it will be a multi-strike hot branding with steel heated up by propane torch. It will be 4 strikes and it is kind of an abstract symbol that sort of looks like a key made up of an E and a t. It looks cool and I will probably post a picture of it on my profile at some point. Our thanks to everyone for the thoughts and well-wishes. I will certainly be adding to this post as this progresses. Taggard

Made a nice round blister. It didn't occur to me to flinch, I didn't feel a thing, didn't have time to get nervous or anything. I just felt excited and trusting. It hurt a bit afterwards, of course, as any burn will, but that was nothing. I just turned over and looked up at him, and we could feel the air humming with what we'd done. I still feel a bit of that, and his hand on me, anytime I touch the scar. The changes in consciousness that the experience evoked for us have been ongoing. It was a chaotic time in our lives and the brand seemed a point of stability (because of its permanence) that yet was woven out of the chaos (because of the spontaneity). The brand is a reminder to me of his creativity which I enjoy, and his ownership which reassures me...and a reminder to him of my flexibility, instant acceptance and unquestioning obedience of which he is very proud. It is a sign that our commitment to each other is for keeps, whatever unforeseen wierdness life throws at us. Whatever wacky shape our lives may take, we can honor and celebrate it, in part because the dynamic of control and obedience between him and me is one constant we can both always count on. Perhaps as a sign of that, perhaps because the gods have a sense of humor, the brand scar (now smooth and white) didn't stay round either. It's right where the waistband of pants rubs, so it didn't heal evenly, and now it looks kind of like Idaho. Which is appropriate, since I da 'ho for him! Smiles JY Edited for spelling.

It was extremely empowering to have myself branded. Not quite the same situation, but... My girl is also branded, a choice she made long before she met me. she has the I Ching symbols for male/female, yin/yang, light/shadow on her forearms. I have phrases in braille on my forearms. We each chose these because they have spiritual meaning. Oh, and when he tells your girl that it won't hurt for the second pass, know that he LIES and has never had it done to himself! Master Fire

So it all goes down tonight! The space is rented. The brander is all set. Kat is a little nervous...ok...a lot nervous. Elle and I are a bit nervous. We are all very very excited. i think it will be all the more special for having been done as a ceremony with someone who understands the lifestyle... you certainly won't regret the extra prep work In my experience, between the endorphins and the damaged nerves, i didn't feel the brand at all for the first two days, it was day 3 through the second week that it became uncomfortable as the skin scabbed and began to regrow... i assume that you've learned all about different forms of aftercare and how they can effect the results, so i won't bore you with that. So it went off without a hitch! Jason (the brander) was professional and excellent at his work. His demeanor put us all at ease, and his skill was a joy to watch. Elle and I held Kat down, with the help of some well placed thigh and ankle cuffs, as he prepared the first piece of steel for the first of five strikes. I watch each piece of metal bite into the soft flesh of her right inner thigh. The flesh would rise around the white hot metal before he withdrew it...like some kind if tiny pink tide rushing in. The smell wasn't as pronounced as I had heard, but I can be hard of smelling at times. Kat didn't scream or yell. She jumped once, and Jason did the smart thing and quit the strike. It is the only line that might have to be "touched up" with a scalpel in the the next week or so... Kat didn't cry...nor did she get stinking drunk (something we had said we would allow her to do, if she really felt she needed it). She wanted to feel it...wanted it to mean more because it was so clear...she wanted the experience to be as bad-ass as she would later say it was. It's different now. Kat is family, but even more so because, unlike your blood relations, we all chose this family. She has a mark on her thigh that combines Elle and my initials, somehow linking the three of us together, forever... When it was over, we went to an all night diner and had rice pudding and then breakfast food. I crashed midway through my three eggs over easy. Kat and Elle were still running on adrenaline. Kat didn't want the night to end...she kept call it "Kat's branding day"...and Elle and I agreed that August 15th would have to be celebrated annually. What an amazing experience... Taggard

I also had my brand done by someone who was trained by Fakir, in Pittsburgh PA, I researched it for months, to be sure I found someone clinically safe and who's reputation I was impressed with. She did an amazing job. The experience was something you really cannot describe to someone who has not experienced it. They were so careful there, they asked what you ate the night before, if you had aspirin, alcohol, etc, and would not do it if it did not meet their standards. I had 7 strikes, and did not watch the first few, but if you move, the shape becomes disfigured, so I concentrated on not flinching etc. I jumped mildly at the 3rd one, but it healed fine. The intensity of the pain is exhilirating, because it is so painful, but amazingly after just 3 seconds, because it is a third degree burn with each strike, it becomes immediately numb! Then you kind of anticipate the next strike, due to the pain being relieved instantly, it is amazing. It's a great experience, not for everyone, but I would do it again, in fact for some when you experience it, you would like to have it done again. But I am glad you had a person trained by Fakir as I did, he is the best :)

no, I was squatting and a big glob of stainless steel stick stuck. Stainless globs instead of spurts. Not even the guy in the hang from the cieling by his balls would be dumb enough to weld with his dick out. LOL well-------maybe not.

After a few days, they had a falling out and the slave was soooooooooooo glad she hadn't been marked, for it would have been a reminder of her own folly for she was soooooooo sure! And also, if things go awry- YOU, master-person, will always be known as that asshole that did it.,. May I suggest you just hike your leg on her to mark her?
