tradewinds -> bleeding after fisting (8/11/2007 5:32:49 PM)

A week ago my Master and I tried vaginal fisting for the first time.  He could not get the thumb knuckle in so it wasn't a complete success but we will keep trying.[image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m9.gif[/image]
The problem is that I have been bleeding ever since.  I orginally thought it was my period (since I was due anyway) but I have had a relatively consistent flow of blood for 7 days (not a huge amount, just enough to have to change my tampon a few more times than usual during the day) and my period usually only lasts for three days, so I am fairly certain this is a direct result of my being fisted.
I did make a Dr. appt (thankfully she is completely aware of my lifestyle) but that is not until Monday.
I would just like some feedback from some of the more experienced people out there if this is "normal" and if anything like this has happened to any of you..
Thanks in advance..

ouch, sounds like a laceration to me. Your medical person needs to take a good look and see what's going on and how deep it is. The rule of thumb for suturing is no stitches after six hours after injury so that's out.

It might be cervical, some women have friable cervixes which means they have capillaries that pop easier than other people but you don't usually see seven days of bleeding from fisting or sex.

Personally, I would recommend herbals but your medical person will probably give you some sort of script. Make a point of more lube, more patience and more gentleness with your next try.

But it isn't heavy bleeding..I am fairly positive I wouldn't have needed sutures... It didn't even start until the next morning.

The one time i was fisted i bled from being torn slightly but it only lasted about a day. A week seems pretty long for that.

I'm not an expert, but if you were coming up on your period anyway, it wouldn't surprise me if the fisting shook up your cycle a bit, your Dr will be able to figure it out, I'm sure..good luck : )

I've known of some women who don't bleed that long after childbirth. ouchie.

I would suggest firstly to use a pad and not a tampon. Pokin' inside there after your cervix has had some recent shock or possible tear is not a good idea.  Not to mention they are bacteria holders.  Good idea to see the doc Monday.

Ask the doc first thing on monday.

If it gets any worse, call the medical ward.

It is hopefully nothing, but better safe than sorry.

My nails once caused some small lacerations at the mouth of the cervix as I probed, but, I'll blame it on her enjoying the initial action there. When her moans of pleasure turned to yelps of pain, I changed up and was surprised to see blood on My fingers, and yes, I do now utilize gloves.

You're absolutely right; gobs of a good lubricant, lots of patient probing and concious attempts to dilate the vaginal ring (pubeo-coccygeal muscle. sic?), and an additional entry into the play. I attempt to find a female friend to join us for the sole reason of their hand size being smaller and her knowledge of the other females anatomy and pleasure zones being more commonly known to her.
A females patience is much stronger than Mine and I prefer that the tasty font of a female's essence not be fouled by serum products. yuckers.

When fisting is performed it causes the mucosa of the vagina to stretch sometimes causing tears in the lining of the vagina which will continue to bleed until they heal.  They are also more prone to getting an infection in the blood stream from this.  It would be better to use gloves to provide a smooth surface on the tissue to prevent more tearing

Hopefully you got an answer on your problem by now.  But personally even if I have sex prior to a period (which is rare enough as it is), the time is longer, the flow is heavier.  No sex?  No period.  Rough sex?  Heavier period.  I cannot even imagine fisting.
Two days, is already too long.

I had a similar experience, only it wasnt the first time.  We'd been doing it for some time, and the incident that caused the bleeding was a session of very ROUGH and hard fisting.  I bled on and off for about 3 weeks, especially after sex.  I saw my MD and she couldnt find anything except maybe some bruising.  She told me that when the cervix gets bruised it bleeds.  It did eventually stop, but I also advise you to keep your appt....although if it gets heavy, you might want to consider an ER visit beforehand.  Be careful not to put anything in there, as you are more receptive to infection when you have open wounds, and I would avoid baths...although a salt sitz bath might actually be beneficial.

SubJordanTyler -> RE: bleeding after fisting (9/1/2007 9:37:36 AM)

I've bled after anal fisting before, but it was never that bad.  It always seemed to be from some mild tearing during the act of fisting itself and was more when I was a newbie to it.  I did get checked out to make sure there wasn't more damage in there, and fortunately there wasn't.  I'm much more stretched out now, so I don't have those same problems anymore, but I would recommend going slow and using lots of lube when starting - and be sure to clean out well.  Multiple enemas do take time, but it's worth it in the end to help avoid messes.

bottombob -> RE: bleeding after fisting (9/15/2007 1:33:15 PM)

probably went too fast too soon, gotta take it slow and easy over a long period of time before you can succeed, you have to stretch to fit and if you force you;ll tear, start with 1 finger than 2 but over a few months to allow for proper stretching

mmb1 -> RE: bleeding after fisting (9/15/2007 1:50:03 PM)

It can bring on your period if you are due, but get it checked out:)
